    Translation to English:
I want to start off by thanking all my fans and all the people who cheered for me. I want to thank the organizers of this meet for inviting me, they did it without fear of competition, without fear of the possibility that I may win (the battle of the 220s), although I didn't make any promises and didn't have great expectations for this competition for how I would lift, which I will explain later. Once again thanks to the fans, and even the haters, because it is interesting to me to lift these weights sometimes not just for the enjoyment of the fans, but to make the haters angry. Let me explain how it all started out. A couple of days after the WRPF deadlift competition in Sexton, I got an invitation from Dan Green to compete at Boss of Bosses 3, not just in deadlift, but in full power meet. No one was lifting only in deadlift so I was invited to do full power. Initially, I declined in the invitation because I had a month long vacation the entire month of June after competing deadlift only at WRPF. I had reasons for taking such a long rest, it was much needed, and I pretty much didn't lift at all in June. Only in the beginning of July did I start lifting again and started my preparation for BoB 3. So my preparation only lasted 5 weeks, which was not ideal at all. It's one thing to compete and then go directly into preparing for another competition, and another to take an entire month off and then try to come back and restore your strength while preparing for a meet. This is why I didn't have any expectations for this meet for myself. I didn't have any hopes for a deadlift record, especially since I had problems with my deadlift in preparation. Deadlifting with straps in training was fine until I switched to over/under grip and I started having a problem with my hip. So I didn't really have any pressure on me for this competition, but having a problem with my deadlift was still worrying. People who talk about my 418 kg deadlift need to understand that I wasn't really expecting it, it just sort of happened because I felt good, and a good peak can make a gigantic difference in making such a lift. So I wasn't initially planning to compete because the preparation would not be sufficient, but I decided to go anyways since I realized I would be able to provide good competition regardless, although without hopes of great results. Squat and bench preparation was good, deadlift not so much. I didn't attempt to lift giant weights during the competition, I did not see the point and I was also physically unable due to poor preparation. To my surprise I lifted more than I did in the gym and more than I had hoped for. Dan Green welcomed me warmly even though I was competing against him. Kevin Oak was also very friendly. Pretty much everything was great about this trip to BoB 3. Even though Malanichev and Green had some sort of disagreement last year, I thought Green was very welcoming and nice, which was great. His wife is very cheerful. The people were all very open and talkative which is great. So I'm not just happy about my performance, I'm also happy about my interactions with the people there. I am happy about my performance, except for the last deadlift. The last time I had to work for all 9 attempts was in 2009, since after 8 attempts at previous competitions I wasn't so sure if I would be able to complete the 9th (out of fatigue). So on my last deadlift my calluses ripped, not just the calluses but the skin under the calluses moved. So the last deadlift is the only thing I'm unhappy about. I should be happy about the amount I lifted, since it was enough for a record, although missing the last deadlift made me unhappy. Once again thank you to all my fans. My next competition is the WPRF world championship in November. Then I will lift at GPA world championship in December, in full power, will be interestnig to see what I lift there, I do not know what weight I will lift at, but it will be very interesting.
