hello everyone! first of all, i'd like to say thank you to all of you for supporting my xenoblade playthrough all this time. i am aware that this is not the best playthrough since i missed a lot of quests. i also f'ed up some footages including some quests in chapter 6 and the finale which i had to wait for months in order to forget what was happening and redid it. but nevertheless, i still hope that you enjoyed witnessing my whole xenoblade experience. not gonna lie, i have finished future redeemed and i still have a couple of questions that remain unanswered. so i am hoping for them to surprise us with dlc wave 5 too lmao 😂😂😂 anyways, i just started editing future redeemed and it'll definitely be uploaded here. so, stay tuned! this goodbye is not the end, homies! 🎉

Yeah, such a bittersweet ending. I bawled my eyes out also. As for the post credit scene, the 1000 years in Aionios was a frozen single moment in time. The moment before the clock reached the hour. So once Origin was allowed to complete the reboot, the two worlds continued on past that moment :)
Before you started uploading XBC3 videos on your channel, you made a poll asking which game from the series is our favorite. I answered XBC3, and it is mainly because of this ending. It was just perfect for me, the perfect scene for the moment. “Our worlds in their current states are still young. If in passing, they do themselves harm, I suppose, even then they cannot but carry on.” - Melia There will come a time that realization just hits. We have clung for so long to this friendship we had, too long. The longer it went, the more toxic it bacame, from both side, it was. We could see both of us are hurting but we were so close that we can’t let go. Obviously, things were going downhill but we refused to acknowledge that and we stayed as friends even if people around us were already affected. That was our “endless now”. Recently, we cut ties, and we rarely talk. I’m still recovering but it’s getting better. We were not doing ourselves good by sticking together, so painful as it may be, we had to part ways. We just had to walk separate paths for our own good. “Still, I have faith. Even if now, we become separated for a time, one day we’ll surely get to walk hand-in-hand again.” - Nia But then, there is still that hope, that yearning of a better chance in the future, where both of us will be free of our own demons, where both of us are better person, where both of us can enjoy a box of pizza and talk about nonsense stuff without being conscious of the wounds we carry around; wounds that hopefully, by that time, are already healed. “This goodbye is not the end, I know, until we meet again…” But, until then, let’s just… walk on.
This is a very special game. With each rewatch of the plot my appreciation for it grows - it's truly a work of art. Also, what a genius Takahashi is. Many ideas and concets in 3 are refined/repackaged ideas from xenogears. To think that he released it 25 years ago and the gaming community just wasn't ready for it at the time is hilarious.
I love the castles becoming giant mechs, it's such a Xenoblade things to do lol. This end is so good, their little moments with each pair, and the run. It's impossible to watch it without crying
N is such an interesting villain. Deep down he knows what he did was wrong, but attempts to pathologically justify his actions in order to convince himself that he did the right thing. And he also seeks to break Noah's spirit in the hope that if he does end up convincing Noah to choose despair, he would be vindicated in his own decision to do the same. A really cool character!
The worlds went back to the point where time stopped, Xenoblade 3 is however many years in the future to the point where multiple generations passed so one way or another most of the OG 1 and 2 cast have already passed away, but by the end of 3 the world’s resumed passed the point of where time stopped so by proxy everyone should still be alive
This game is beautiful, the series alone is so amazing, this game alone made me cry, there were so many touching moments, god I love Xenoblade Chronicles.

@@skyeifer I introduced myself to Xenoblade through XCX on Wii U last winter. I kept hearing it was the reason to own a Wii U so I got it and instantly fell in love. From there I tore through Definitive Edition, 2 and 3. Future Redeemed as the first time I had to wait for story DLC, lol. I went from not knowing anything about Xenoblade to all of it in the span of a year. Now it's my favorite series of all time!

the Klaus saga of xenoblade games will never stray away from being my favorite series of jrpgs of all time. these characters really speak to me and not to mention my bias with the character designs (me being a trans person) i get MAD gender envy. all the magic of 1, 2, and 3 and their respective side stories will never fade for me. i'm really glad you ended up loving this series! *footnote: Fiona is best girl and if anyone says anything else they are uhhhhhh wrong lol /j

Loved your playthrough, thanks for sharing your emotional journey with us! Speaking at the end of character development, I think that was a huge part of this game that made the characters so lovable. One of my favorite moments of growth, as someone whose favorite character from the start was Sena, was how at first early in the game, Sena called Eunie "Eunie-love" and Eunie reacted with disgust and was like "Do not call me that" or something along those lines, and I was so mad at Eunie at the time. But then later Eunie called her Sena-love, and then also during the camping spots seeing them eventually warm up to each other and having the girls do each other's hair when at first they were always segregated.
Shoutouts to the Zed battle theme final part 2. It's quite good as is the ending. Also that photo..... I Love You And All You Guys has a new meaning now.
The core idea for Xenoblade 3 is fascinating. They created a super computer that was able to resist the big bang produced by two universes, one made of matter and other made of antimatter, colliding. That's why the sword of origin is also the sword of the end and that's why it's so impossibly sharp and hard. Then the super computer would control the particles to rebuild both universes. For that, it has to scan every thing, thoughts included. But when it scanned the thoughts of the living beings, it found their fear to the future, to what would happen after the collision. Success wasn't guaranteed. So, it created a form, Z, that would make sure to protect the universes by stopping time, by keeping them frozen. Of course it cannot work and they are slowly colliding, but it still tried to stay true to their fear. Mobius is fear. A few plotholes anyway: 1. How did riku get the sword of origin, and 2. How did Noah and MIo manage to be reborn after becoming mobius since they should be out of the cycle.
28:59 based of the weapons that M and mio have the blade that person has will be the same when moebius and looking at Lanz blade and other defender blades its likely that Crys was a defender role as the blade looks similar
I just finished this last night aftwr buying it on release and procrastinating lol and had seen your xenoblade 2 reaction videos and had to come and see yours on this. Such a beautiful story! I would've cried myself if i hadn't sat there for 9 hours yesterday just completely dry eyed. Couldn't help it i was i so invested!

And what Ghondor says suggests that the Citizens will either appear or be born in the two worlds. - Yes, Blade polygamy is a thing in Alrest, apparently. So can we finally stow away the "Poor Nia"s? Please? - One of my favorite parts of the ending has to be the part when the landmasses are unmerging, namely for that endless running effect that it creates. - Well, I mean...Nia's and Mio's names are both _cat puns..._ - The worlds and their inhabitants were restored, and time has resumed. They're back to where they were when the game started, sans the threat of Intersection. (Also, since Joran is alive, I imagine everyone else who was turned into Moebius is as well - though I doubt any of them will have their Aionios memories.)

I'm sure you probably know, buuuuut there are a few post game quests that have some special time with a few special characters. You might find a few answers in there :)
@@skyeifer Yeah, I got some spoilers but thankfully just the post-game party members and the fact N was a thing, which wasn't too hard to work out from the very first scene he showed up in I've managed to mostly avoid spoilers for the end of Future Redeemed so far, hopefully I'll finish that next week...
did you collect all heros in xc3 ? there are so many stuff you can enjoy in your spare time, me probably will try to 100% at some point before any next new monolithsoft game is announced
Did you end up playing the post game hero quests? Also, chain attack music was off at points because of atmosphere. Most people i know actually avoid using chain attack when fighting N at the beginning of chapter 6 because it completely changes the mood and takes people out of it
Was it all the shulk's stupid desire's fault? Like, why would he ask for the world to be dictated by each person's desires? This is what created the "concept" of Moebius, the coagulated fear represented by Z. In a world dictated by the desires of each person and not by gods, the absolute fear of the future made time freeze. That same fear turned into an intense desire for the endless now.
@@wiwiw9887 loved the gameplay and the affinity growth mechanics as it really motivated me to explore the world even more! however, i wasn't 100% emotionally attached to the characters since they're all new except for rex and shulk. but nevertheless, i still enjoyed it and it definitely had its jaw dropping moments!
Riku didn't make the sword. He got it from his Masterpon to keep it until he would find someone worthy. I have waited for so long to watch the Finale. Finally it's out. Will you play the DLC afterwards?
@@Midna78 i think it's an interesting conclusion to the trilogy. some cutscenes floored me and made my jaw drop, but also made me question a lot of things. character wise, i wasn't 100% emotionally attached to them (except rex and shulk), just because they're all new and the dlc was relatively short as well. but nevertheless, i enjoyed it a lot! ohhh and i liked the gameplay better than the base game! the affinity points were so addicting!

Also, chain attack music was off at points because of atmosphere. Most people i know actually avoid using chain attack when fighting N at the beginning of chapter 6 because it completely changes the mood and takes people out of it

Was it all the shulk's stupid desire's fault? Like, why would he ask for the world to be dictated by each person's desires? This is what created the "concept" of Moebius, the coagulated fear represented by Z. In a world dictated by the desires of each person and not by gods, the absolute fear of the future made time freeze. That same fear turned into an intense desire for the endless now.

@@wiwiw9887 loved the gameplay and the affinity growth mechanics as it really motivated me to explore the world even more! however, i wasn't 100% emotionally attached to the characters since they're all new except for rex and shulk. but nevertheless, i still enjoyed it and it definitely had its jaw dropping moments!

@@Midna78 i think it's an interesting conclusion to the trilogy. some cutscenes floored me and made my jaw drop, but also made me question a lot of things. character wise, i wasn't 100% emotionally attached to them (except rex and shulk), just because they're all new and the dlc was relatively short as well. but nevertheless, i enjoyed it a lot! ohhh and i liked the gameplay better than the base game! the affinity points were so addicting!
