I’ve got a card with like a black mark where the artists quill is which makes me wonder but I’ve check the edges and no black line so hard to tell, anyway I can send some images somewhere for you to look over?
Hey! I have only seen pictures of those counterfeits. They only seem to exist in non foil versions for now. The pictures i have seen show that the lore problem is the same as shown here, the rest is hard to tell from pictures. I have also heard people say that the original promos printing is a bit weird and inconsistent, but it should still be possible to tell the difference between real and counterfeit.
Hello man. CAN you check your fake card from the back ? The fake raspunzel I received it was very obvious cause the back of the card is usually really smoothly blend between the black of the ink drawing and the actual black border of the card. On the fake one the blend is very badly done and it is because I think it is printed on black cards. So the printing doesn’t blend perfectly and there is a sharp strict difference between the black of the logo and the actual black frame of the card. If the fake you show are like new generation fake maybe this was corrected and we need to use closer looks check like you showed. Please tell me if you see my point ty
Hey thanks for your suggestion. I have checked the back of the card and i can definitely notice differences. The main one i am seeing is on the crispness of the gold lines. The fake ones are not as crisp as the real ones. I will get some better pictures of it tomorrow and update the guide. About the link in the description, since my account is new it is pending approval to show fully. It should be sorted soon 😉
@@PandaBossGames i wish I could send you a picture of what I have witnessed cause you are right but this is not the detail I wanted you to notice. Any way I can send it to you ? :)
Absolutely, send them to pandabosstcg at gmail. I will compare your pictures to the examples i have here. Btw the link in description is now working correctly 😉
Hello, i currently don’t have any counterfeit enchanted with me, but i will see if i can get a copy of one of the enchanteds i have and do the comparison. From what i saw, most of the issues i mentioned here still apply to the enchanteds (lore icon, artist quill). I’ll see what i can do. Thanks!
I don't want to be the bad guy but I have a lot of Locana cards pulled from original Ravensuberger boxes and I've personally found inside of them three Diablo, card you use as an example inside of this video to check if a card it's real or it's not and what I can say is that all of three of my Diablo are not perfectly indentical on the details you tell to check (some are between them, and some are not). All prints are different and all details can change, for example even the author name can be not centered in the same spot for all the cards. Also the card edge effect you tell to check about is like present in all original enchanted cards from my point of view using only my eyes. It's only my point of view so I don't want to say I'm right, but you can't look into those details to spot fake cards.
Hey thanks for your feedback. Printing differences are definitely a thing, but the patterns i show here are more than just that. If they were printing issues, the printing patterns would not be radically different as they are for instance in the lore symbol. Also every card i flag as fake has a different weight to it and that one we can’t really attribute to printing issues. I have sent some of the fakes to cardmarket for a refund and they will be giving me feedback after their analysis on the authenticity of the cards. Will post here once i have their feedback. Also would be great to have a look at your diablo examples, if you want to share them. You can email the pics to pandabosstcg at gmail if you wish. My ultimate goal here is for people to be safe when buying. Thanks!
Hey! The one i have i bought at a local coin collecting store a few years ago, but amazon has similar ones available like this one amzn.eu/d/hAtsqv3 Also if you want the scale this is the one i got: amzn.eu/d/iSAv9zi But any typical kitchen scale should work. Hope it helps!
This should be addressed and confirmed with Ravensburg. Additional measures need to be taken to prevent fakes being made
If you look at the number of top left (that represent the ink cost) with a magnifier, you should spot also a kind of grid shape.
Thanks! I will check that out and update my guide 😁

Do these apply for the DLC challenge promo cards? (Rapunzel / Cinderella)

Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Didn’t realise that fakes were so prominent 😬
Yup we were surprised by the amount we found just in our local store. Scary stuff 😕
@@PandaBossGames thats shocking! be sure to report them to ravensburger. I think they take stuff like this pretty seriously
Can you do an enchanted comparison

Do you have an email where i can send you photos of cards and can you tell me if they are fake?
Hello! Yes i do pandabosstcg at gmail 😉
Can you help me?
Sure send the pictures to the email above

Can I get some fake cards at a discount? My new decklist is like 230 dollars. Would be nice to knock that down to 25 bucks 😅
