This is what happens when you have an intact family that prioritizes their children. You end up with stable, successful, and talented children. Cudos to the Washington family. Denzel is my favorite actor, his talent is great.

If only COlonial society would ALLOw for more stability in oppressed communities. Instead of being so backward and full of jealousy they were destroying to satisfy their Primal URGES to kill and destroy...alll so they can feel special and project themselves as the model.

This has been the result for many children of various types of households. There are also children who come from married or “ living with other for years “ homes that produce horrors.
It simply depends on the mentalities of those who are guiding and raising the children.

I appreciate period dramas; this one is worth watching. The tension between the siblings is palpably electrifying, and the performances of the actors, especially John David Washington and Danielle Deadwyler, induce mesmerism. The entrepreneurial spirit in John David Washington's character called Boy Willie is infectious, even I was left wanting to buy some land just to say I own some land and hope to grow produce. On another note, seeing Samuel L. Jackson's performance, though subtle, was rather refreshing, poignant and arresting. The major theme is family. Watch it!

I'm really sick of these types of movies. Yall can't think of anything except for another group hating us , so that's why we are empowered? More victimhood movies? Spike Lee, Jordan Peele, now Denzel's family. We want to see a masculine black male that leads his family with a black wife. Not a slave movie, oppression movie, alternative lifestyle movie. Those are the only movie they are allow to produce. It has to be movies about division. They are working in an industry controlled be small hats. Small hats control distribution of films so the film has to have propaganda boxes checked. Dang shame. When Denzel played a lawyer defending a gay man. That's when Denzel was bought and paid for. He compromised himself to demons.
