I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this piece. About a 1000 years ago I took art in school, loved it. Hated the art history component and discontinued my studies because of that. I’ve regretted that ever since. I’m attempting to teach my niece and nephews they need to have some form of creativity in their lives. It’s work like this that makes me reconsider getting back into it again.
Maybe I’ll get into skillshare.com and record my journey. Lol. Can’t imagine there being much of an audience however.

I agree with you Nancy, I believe all women should be able to stay at the home and let the men go to work. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I have just been in the workforce for 25 years and I’m over it! I would rather stay home with my kids and paint, lo.

I should do the same as many of you do and just scrape off paint if you don't like the outcome. But there's something about a pristine canvas. I think I need to let go . I love doing your formulas. I am making some mistakes bc I can't seem to get the look of tendrils at the end of each ring.
Is that bc of the satin enamal paint?
I also noticed that when I do the layering, you don't use measuring cups, so how much do you put of each color into the layer cup?

This by far really looks challenging bc it's so many same tone orange, but you dont want them to mix. And you nailed it I absolutely love this one I hate the color orange but this painting makes me like the color orange.
But I want to challenge you as the end-of-the-year comes to mix more bold combinations of colors!!
Your pours are mesmerizing! And so gorgeous white Abalone made me see how pure these paintings can be. This will be my 2nd year of fluid art and my 3rd in general acrylic...as a pro photographer I'm always looking at ways to do all wet/dry media together.
My pour paintings are going to be cards in my self made Oracle deck.
