  • In this video I'm showing you how to meet Black's early ...Qb6 in order to stop White's typical c3-Nbd2-Bd3 setup in the London System.

So annoying early Qb6 should be played in style of the Jobava? I will try this Nc3 idea as I am getting tired in the normal London setup and this new (new to me) Knight move will save me from getting the same standard London system layout that I'm okay against almost everything. Now I need to try new openings that are similar to the standard system.

It should be done in the Jobava London style, because the alternative is to play more passively, with b2-b3 and/or Qc1. On the other side, with Nc3 your getting a valuable tempo on the d5-pawn, and after Nc3-b5 White will get an upper hand, forcing Black to make a passive Na6 move.
