- To be completely honest, season 4 really disappointed me. And same goes for what they did with Rayla and Callum. However, as soon as I heard this song, I knew I had to edit it with them.

@@cosmicgriffin8026 exactly :C I think the fact they changed writers had a lot to do with it. Have you heard the podcast with the original cast of the first 2 seasons? They commentate on voice acting the eps and it’s super neat! ^^

I disagree, it was a nice setup for the next arc to me. also, people wanting a instant hookup and not a realistic reaction to someone leaving for 2 years and ignoring subtle hints to that final hug is strange to me. nice amv though.
In my opinion, I just think they missed a huge story opportunity with this. In season 4, it seemed like it was just for the drama which makes the entire arc pointless. Also, Rayla’s not dumb, if she was given two years, I think she would’ve been able to find a cave. If Rayla had gotten captured or put in a coin or something by Claudia, it would’ve made the real goal in season 4 much more clear and Rayla and Callum’s reunion would feel much more earned. I guess I just wished they handled it better.
ok, Rayla being smart but getting caught because she left on her own just make her a dumb captive to me no offence. also, pretty predictable outcome for her choice and callum forgiving her to save her instead of building the tension till he can finally embrace her and tell her "he glad she came back. agree to disagree but that's fine just giving my thoughts.
@@aprilpearson6923 Rayla finding Claudia and Aaravos and getting captured wouldn’t be her not being smart. Aaravos is supposedly the most powerful being in the dragon prince universe. If she didn’t die or at least get captured she wouldn’t seem dumb, it would prove that Aaravos is powerful. It was also extremely convenient that Rayla just happened to come back right in time for the next big quest after being gone for two years. It’s also out of character for her to just come back without her misson being completed. I mean, what was she even doing for two years? If she didn’t find any trace of Viren, Claudia, Aaravos, or at least Terry, it honestly just proves that she’s incompetent. I know tons of fans are saying that they liked what happened with Callum and Rayla because it was realistic, but when your writing a fictional story about fantasy (not drama) and you only have nine episodes to work with, it’s going to seem pretty unnecessary. Especially when it’s not tied into the actual story or plot at all. Also, Rayla’s entire character this season revolved around her relationship with Callum which ultimately made her seem like she was just there until there was a Rayllum moment. This is all just my opinion and I respect yours, but as someone who’s followed this show and read all the comics and short stories and rewatched the first three seasons at least 20 times, season 4 was very disappointing to me.
@@cosmicgriffin8026 ok, still don't care for your idea still dumb she got caught and have to be save forcing forgiveness from callum, at least this rough patch will deepen their bond and maybe taught Rayla a lesson not to just leave like her parents and trust in others to help, this make their relationship not always perfect and more organic to me. also, I think you're jumping the gun since we got another season coming so more can be revealed and figure out what tie to part 4. also, we got Zubeia giving some info about Aaravos, callum's possession which again could be use in the future, Viren once again falls under the sway of dark magic, got the coins back which could be used against them since they have to free the elves from them, Elf homunculus etc to say it was all a waste of time and the title is "Mystery of Aaravos" is odd. I like the season, you don't nothing else to say really unless you want to repeat this talk, good day/night.
