The Kubuqi Desert (simplified Chinese: 库布齐沙漠; traditional Chinese: 庫布齊沙漠; pinyin: Kùbùqí Shāmò) is a desert within the Ordos Basin in northwestern China, under the administration of the Inner Mongolian prefecture of Ordos City. Located between the Hetao plains and the Loess Plateau, it is part of the Ordos Desert along with the neighboring Mu Us Desert to its south, and is the 7th largest desert in China] with an area of 18,600 km2 (7,200 sq mi).
Kubuqi Desert (库布齐沙漠) is one of the most popular desert tourism destinations and it’s the 7th largest desert in China. Kubuqi means "string on a bow" in Mongolian. The bow is the winding Yellow River around Ordos, and the string is the golden sand belt. The expanding area of the Kubuqi Desert is nibbling away at the fertile Ordos Grassland. The typical grassland scenery of green grass, cows and sheep flocks has become rolling yellow sand, which makes visitors can not help but sigh about the vicissitudes of the world.
In Kubuqi, the first thing to see is a masterwork of human sand-fixing. The crisscross grass ridge is firmly pressed under the undulating dunes, spreading out a rare desert green! Kubuqi is a paradise for desert hikers. The vast desert landscape gives people a visceral shock, not to mention the unpredictable desert light, the “desert flowers” which are carved by the wind, the indescribable sunrise and sunset, as well as a mythical mirage. These unique beauties of the desert attract countless visitors from all over the world.

Very good and informative video by Niranjan, desert can be converted by growing grass and trees. Drip irrigation is used for watering the plants. Camel ride, rope way ride is also available. In Rajasthan desert, Narpatsingh Rajpurohit is also planting grass and trees by drip irrigation.
Increase in agriculture produces can be done by scientific methods.

I also saw such videos, but don't remember all the details. I think the rabbits eat some parts of the plants used for controlling sand, and that's good for the growth of the plants. 😂

I happened to come across a video about those rabbits again, and paid a bit more attention this time 😀.
As it turned out, the rabbits were introduced from France, not the same type that destroyed the grassland in Australia. They eat dry plants (I would go for the jucy green leaves if I were a rabbit 😁). Their digestive system can't process plant seeds which contain protein, so they spread plant seeds around the desert. Of course, they also fertilize the land 😃.
