My home park. And yes, that's also because I have not been to the other parks yet. But how I love the castle and the dragon underneath, the steampunk discoveryland, how easy it is to wonder around and ah yes..how relatively close to home it is (about a 4 hour drive). Love DLP Diaries (Don't have a dedicated Disney TH-cam ;-) )
Yes! The dragon underneath the castle is so awesome and the steampunk Discoveryland is stunning, especially at night! Being able to walk between the parks, Disney Village and the hotels is the best!
How bad is the smoking? I ask as multiple members of my family have health conditions in which being around smoke can be extra bad for them. If it’s bad enough I think we might have to give Disneyland Paris a miss sadly.
Hi! You definitely won't see smoking absolutely everywhere, all day. So I think you will all be ok! It's more that it's a shock when you do see it as we are so unused to it! I've never had to wade through smokers or been trapped in an area and not been able to get away from smoke, which is good!
We are from UK also and had the same when visiting Europa Park last year, smoking everywhere, very offputting. Thats what I like about UK parts and Orlando.
It is very shocking as we are so not used to it! It's hard when there are smoking areas but no one uses them. And you are so right with it being so different in the UK and US parks!
I am French and I don't think that rudeness is only a question of culture or language. I've been going to Disneyland Paris very regularly for 10 years, and I've seen a big difference: Cast members are a lot less friendly now than they used to be, and guests as well. I understand that it must be stressful to work as a cast member, but being smiley and friendly is supposed to be part of their job. Unfortunately, ensuring a warm welcome for visitors no longer seems to be one of Disneyland Paris' priorities.
Thank you so much for your comment! I totally agree! I feel like particularly since the pandemic people all over the world have become ruder, and sadly you definitely notice this in the Disney Parks!
I’ve seen a few complaints about DLP cast members being rude, but it sometimes seems like it was just the language barrier - they’d phrased something in a way which sounded rude to a native English speaker and the guest had taken offence! The way the parks operate with so many CMs and guests who speak different languages always fascinates me.
Yes I definitely think a language barrier and cultural differences can sometimes cause friction even if no offence was intended! It is incredible how the cast members speak so many languages! It is so impressive!
I think it is really good how they are incorporated them into the parks but most of them are slightly off the main path to keep it in it's own area which is clever!
As a German, I don't remember ever finding any cast member rude. They're just French. There are cultural and language barriers I think. Everybody has been very polite and friendly. But then, some people think Germans are rude, too, and from what I hear from American parks I think it would give me huge culture shock to find everybody so overly nice and super duper friendly. I also figure the cast members are just doing their job. Somebody letting their entire trip be ruined by a single negative interaction with a cast member is an over the top reaction.
Disneyland Paris do a great job of having smoking areas in the parks, it's just a shame people don't use them as a lot of non-smokers can't be around smoke!
Would you consider using chapters? On your videos ☺️
Hi! I will definitely try and do this!

Great list! Totally agree about certain rides being the best at DLP 👏🏻
Yes! There are so many rides that are the best versions in DLP! And it is such a pretty park!

Mmmm, I like your positivity, but it’s just French people 😂 Specifically Parisians, they are famously rude.

omg, I never noticed the designated areas for smokers 🤣🤣🤣 #clueless

Smoking I mean it’s ok it’s not like smoking on a plane like in the 80s
