Moto Z Play. Camera starts fine, but soon as I take a picture it gives the restart camera message and doesn't save the photo. I put an SD card in a couple months back, but it's been working fine and has 100 GB storage still left. I have tried what you suggested among other things and cannot seem to remedy the issue. I thought about removing the card, but I had formatted it as internal and now there's too much on the card to migrate back to the phone to remove it. I really need my camera and I can't take any pictures right now. Any ideas would be awesome. So now it's not saving screenshots either. Gives me a not enough memory message which makes no damn sense. I obviously have a crap-ton of memory. What gives?

Before doing anything else, simply try to power off your phone completely. If you have the option to remove battery -- do it. Let phone off for up to a minute and then turn it on. This very much seems like a software power management bug as the issue appears after battery is almost drained and phone goes to power saving mode. Hope this helps others get the cam working again in less than two minutes.
