He really did fall in love with her. Because if baat sirf uske bhai ke case ki hoti then he would've easily won that when that cctv footage changing plan came across. And they would've successfully won that case if he hadn't disclose it to Mehrunnisa. Even mehru's lawyer also said that this information helped them alot.

I love Mehru and she's my favourite and most relatable female lead in a pakistani drama ever. I love how she always stands up for herself. The thing I had always hated the most about pak dramas was the female lead shown as bechari and always suffering so this was refreshing. But the only thing I don't like is how Mehru refuses to accept that she did anything wrong by meeting Shahnawaz again and again behind Rafay's back while she was being engaged to him. That's dishonesty and if she doesn't think that was wrong then all her words about principle and honor seem meaningless and empty.

Perfect acting by shahnawaz, how he pretended to be in love with mehru was so flawless that we actually believed he is in really in love with her. But the sudden change My God so legit! 😂 Kind of predicted that already, but the way Mehru turned this upside down brilliant job mehru!
Episodes 15 onwards they did show that Shahnawaz felt attraction and love for her, viz. the coffee shop dream sequence when he holds her hand. But he is mama’s boy after all, molded from childhood to do what she says, and she directed his actions towards Mehru from the outset, even tho in the show he admits to falling in love to his mother and she first thinks it’s Amal and later she finds out from Dawood that he’s been seeing Mehru. So he’s going to repress his unwilling attraction for Mehru, let’s see what happens but I don’t want Mehru to give in to defeat and commit suicide, she’s too strong for such escapism 👎

Episodes 15 onwards they did show that Shahnawaz felt attraction and love for her, viz. the coffee shop dream sequence when he holds her hand. But he is mama’s boy after all, molded from childhood to do what she says, and she directed his actions towards Mehru from the outset, even tho in the show he admits to falling in love to his mother and she first thinks it’s Amal and later she finds out from Dawood that he’s been seeing Mehru. So he’s going to repress his unwilling attraction for Mehru, let’s see what happens but I don’t want Mehru to give in to defeat and commit suicide, she’s too strong for such escapism 👎
