Interesting to hear Rakic being so confident he would have won if it wasn’t for the injury. To me he had a great 2nd round but even if Jan was bothered by the blood in the eye I clearly had him winning 1st and probabaly winning 3rd as well. And those leg kicks and checks from Jan really seemed to slow Rakic down. But hey, confidence is king I suppose. Wish him the best and that he comes back with a venegance. Because if his plan is to take his opponent down but not really go for sub or gnp he has to go on a MASSIVE streak to get a title shot.

So it was close, Jan barley out stuck him in significant strikes, and his percentages were better. I could've had a Jan bias a bit, but it seemed to me Jan was landing the larger shots, nothing for either fighter to Han their heads about though. Was a really good match up and would like to see it again, for the title in Europe would be fantastic.
