    I agree with you completely. I think that Scentsy should not have released that warmer with that design flaw, and they should have let you return it without you having to pay for the shipping. SHAME ON SCENTSY! I find nothing funny about half the lights being out. If that was a first purchase for me, I would never do business with them again. They should just take this off the website in my opinion- do it right, or don’t do it at all. I definitely understand and agree with your disappointment.

      I agree with you. I think alot of people will be very disappointed with this warmer. Scentsy totally misrepresented this warmer. Who wants a Christmas tree warmer that the all the bulbs don't light up. We work hard for our money and I don't care how much something cost. It is the principle of this. Shame on them for charging for product return on this!

I truly don't believe they intended the warmer to be designed that way..but somehow that happened and it still got released! Just hope they make it right for anyone disappointed with it.     I agree with you 100%. Scentsy should have posted that the tree does not light up all the way...
    And you definitely should not have to pay the 10 dollars to return it... With Scentsy being such a big company they should make sure their customers are completely happy.

      I was holding out hope Scentsy would take care of this issue and do something for everyone who purchased it, but I'm pretty disappointed they still haven't.     I agree with you COMPLETELY. I’ve been in situations like this with random places in my life where it seemed as if nobody could help me….so I call the top people in charge. Why not? It’s the principle. I appreciate you being honest and you have a right to feel the way you do.

      Yesss that part drives me crazy!! If a customer simply decided they didn't like the warmer, that would be one thing. But it's deceiving, in my opinion. The return shipping should be free, at least. A customer would still have to take the time to box it back up and return it. Hopefully, they make it right once it's brought to their attention!     Yes, totally agree, and thank you - I’m glad to hear someone else voice it. I had planned to buy, then noticed as I filled my cart that the top lights were off. I decided to pass for myself for that reason but my sister had expressed interest so I got it for her. When I told her I already ordered for her, and explained why I skipped it, she was bummed because she hadn’t noticed that and had already ordered one herself. Now we both have one and I guess will make the best of it as is - we are thinking fairy lights inside of it for general Christmas decor - but absolutely, it’s a warmer and it should fully light up, just like you’d want your actual Christmas tree to look. I expect there will be many customer complaints in the coming months about this warmer. The full size is beautiful but the price difference makes it a no-go for some people. This should’ve been an equally beautiful and functional, smaller sized and priced, version.

    Hi! New subscriber here! I completely agree with you on this warmer. I was watching a Scentsy director who mentioned that only half of the tree lit up. I thought that was very strange and no longer wanted to purchase it. They absolutely need to make it known to customers on the website. Thank you for your candidness! 😊

    I almost added this to my cart and then noticed the picture that you mentioned where the top half doesn’t light up. I decided not to purchase because of that. I agree with you. I don’t find it to be a “funny” thing and think It’s very disappointing that they would release something like this. I would be upset if my 7.5 foot Christmas tree wasn’t lit at the top too 🤣

      @AlyssaMartin8 right! It's not funny at all..in fact, I had a tree that didn't light at the top when the top lights went out after a few years, and it was so frustrating. It just reminds me of that time. I definitely don't want a warmer like that 😂 It's a little embarrassing and disappointing when customers ask me if that's really how Scentsy designed it!     I agree with you completely! I too am a consultant and I did not realize that. Thank you for sharing. Definitely a design flaw. Not many people, I know, would want a half lit tree.
    I don't see you as being negative. I sometimes feel with the Scentsy culture that you can never say anything against or constructive without coming across negative and that doesn't seem right to me. No company is perfect. So I appreciate your honest opinion rather than saying everything is wonderful all the time which just isn't realistic. Shannon 😊 (new subscriber)

      @smileshan1000 Thank you so much for being understanding! Yessss... Sometimes, Scentsy culture and the Scentsy community can make me feel like I have to keep my opinions to myself. But you're right. No company can be perfect, and it's important to share what we wish would change or how we feel.
      Often, Scentsy groups on facebook will turn off commenting if you say anything slightly constructive, if the group admins view it as negative. Drives me crazy. I promised myself my youtube channel wouldn't be like that. I won't allow just pure negativity, but honesty and constructive criticism is different.     I'm glad you made this video. I thought mine was defective. I was so excited to add this to my Christmas decor in my bathroom and what a letdown. I ran to the internet to see what the deal is. I decided to splurge and get this and it looks so bad 👎

      @LetiBettie I'm so sorry. I still can't believe Scentsy has stayed silent and not addressed this issue. Very disappointing. A lot less people would be disappointed if they would at least make it very known. You can return it but not for free. I didn't return mine because I was told by support it would cost $10 to return, another $10 to ship a different mini warmer but the mini warmer I exchanged it for had to be a regular priced $25 mini warmer, when I paid $30 for this one. That is ridiculous. So, all in all, it wouldn't have been worth it to return it. And that is beyond disappointing. There is absolutely no reason Scentsy had to create a warmer like this. The dish area that holds the wax is preventing the light from traveling to the top lights on the warmer...but they could have designed it differently or left the dish area clear. It is definitely a design flaw! So sorry you were disappointed. It would have been absolutely adorable if they would have designed it correctly. 💔

    I notice on the Scentsy website it does have a picture of it half lit up...I did not see that before I ordered it or I never would have got it. I also ordered the Vintage Estate Haunted House Warmer and the cover of the wax dish (which is a piece of the roof) does not sit on the wax dish properly (the chimney of the house is in the way). I sent it back and got another one and it fits the same. So a bad year for design flaws. Expensive stuff to have these things happen.

I had not heard about that! That's so frustrating. I'm so sorry. Yes, their products are more on the expensive side and usually that price is reflected in their high quality and fantastic customer service.     I was sincerely upset when I plugged mine in and it only lit up halfway. I thought it was defective and then realized the wax spot blocks the light 😩

    I 100% agree! I feel the company can also put out for the label. Im surprised you don't have the option to speak to a manager who may be able to do more. This would drive me crazy 😅 like a bulb is out in the string and i need to spend hours finding it. 🙈

It is odd to me that she couldn't take some sort of complaint report and submit that to a supervisor or someone else, but she made it sound like she couldn't.     See I could even purchase the full size version, because there are “holes” on the tree where I think they should have put a Christmas light. For the price point, I expected more.

    im not getting this one and TY so VM for pointing this out.. i think i saw it in your other video or someone elses video.. having the upper mini bulbs there just for decoration is SO misleading.. i wd be embarassed to have it at my booth, they get home and no light, just bulb and i know they wd be very upset.. so im not selling anything misleading....i really am shocked about this situation.. ty for have the guts to do this video, i just started watching your videos and LOVE them.. please keep up the GREAT work....and i Love how down-to- earth u are...

    I was on the fence about getting this warmer, but I definitely won't now! Thank you for being transparent and honest!
    Speaking of warmers, I got the Color Me Pumpkin warmer, and I hate it; the pumpkin where the wax goes is oddly shaped with a strange lip. You can't get cooled wax out, hard to clean, etc. Just wondering if this has been anyone else's experience?

      @joecallis3474 glad you know now before you order it! The color me pumpkin dish is definitely different. I have struggled a little bit to change the wax. It works better for me to change the wax while the wax is hot and melted with either a small cotton clean up or a few cotton balls. Usually I like to use a paper towel but that didn't work well for that particular dish. Hope that helps a little, even though I feel like that dish may just be more of a struggle than traditional dishes. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 💜💕

    This is the 3rd warmer with an “issue” for lack of a better word. I, too, am a consultant. Support can indeed let those higher up about the problem. I’ve been told that many times. Something is not right with the company right now. I’ve been a consultant for over 11 years. Never before were there this many issues with products.

    I really wanted the mini or the full but yeah when I saw the photo for the mini I was so confused... it looks weird half lit - why would Scentsy make it like that? Then I was looking at the full and decided not to get that one either because it would've been so much nicer if the star lit up too. Very disappointing

      @arasren5695 you're so right! I do wish the star lit up too on the full size one but I'm at least happy it lights up the whole way around the tree. I have no idea why scentsy chose to make the mini like that when they had plenty of other options to design it to make it light up all the way! Glad you realized it before you bought it!!     Personally... I found it weird and thought why didn't they do a clear dish... however to play both sides I normally don't keep my mini warmers on 24-7 and it really does look cute in the kitchen as a decor warmer when it's not turned on. I like mine but I will admit that I do advise my customers before they purchase it that it doesn't fully light up and if that's what they are looking for I'd be more than willing to recommend another warmer.

That's why I ordered it even though I knew from that one pic, there was a possibility it didn't light up all the way, and I was hoping the picture was wrong. Just another reason why I'm disappointed because I want to use it and love it, but I just can't enjoy it half lit. I'm really hoping they redesign it in the future! I'm totally fine with them keeping it available for anyone who wants it as is... Just wish they would make it extremely clear that it doesn't light up all the way to avoid confusion and disappointment. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 💜💕

    I'm not into this warmer, nor did I get the full size one. I would be upset if I was expecting all the light to light up & they didn't. I think Scentsy should pay for the shipping to let you exchange it. I got something one time defective & customer care wouldn't help me b/c I'm not a consultant. Once I complained to my consultant, they some what fixed the issue, but not totally. I was upset with Scentsy for not fixing my issue all the way. I believe companies are out there to make money & don't what to help when it comes to losing money or the person just is lazy & doesn't want to do their job.

I've never had an issue with scentsy before, and they have always handled issues, especially damaged or defective issues for me and my customers, generously and easily. If you ever have an issue again, let me know, and I'll definitely call scentsy for you and make sure to get some sort of resolution, especially if concerns a defective item on their part!     When I watched your other video I thought right away that looked like a string of lights went out on a real tree. I agree with you that this is a design flaw and I would be extremely unhappy with this warmer. Extremely unfair that you would have to pay to ship this back.

      @KiaraLemmone it is unfair. 😕 I hate it for everyone who purchased it and are disappointed. I tried to leave a review for this warmer on their website last week and they have yet to post it. There are no reviews for this warmer which is odd. If they would post the review at least people would see that and know it doesn't light up all the way! If they continue not posting bad reviews for others to see and don't acknowledge the issue in a news article I'm going to be extrememly disappointed in scentsy. I really think they should allow everyone to return them for free but at the very least they need to acknowledge the issue. Thanks for watching and commenting! 💜💕

      I would be very upset if they didn't post the review because it was negative. I think I would contact them again at that point and ask why they are not posting the negative reviews.

    I wish I had seen this video two days ago before I ordered this as a gift. Ugh. At least I got it 1/2 price. But yeah I don’t feel comfortable giving this as a gift.

      @heatherlubash3730 oh no, I'm so sorry! This is why I've been begging Scentsy to put something on the website stating this warmer only lights up halfway! I also wrote 2 negative reviews on the website last week for this specific warmer, and neither one has been posted! It's also odd there are no other reviews for this warmer on their website. At least if they would show the reviews more people would be aware of this! But, I can only assume they are deliberately hiding the reviews. To say I'm disappointed in Scentsy about this is an understatement. I really thought they would have come up with some sort of solution, or at least acknowledge the issue by now. I hope you'll consider calling Scentsy to at least voice your disappointment even if you decide to keep it 😕 Sorry this happened, but I do appreciate you watching and commenting! 💜💕

    Oh mama! I’m so sorry about your experience with the mini-warmer. I just had my first truly disappointing warmer and consultant experience. I was a costumer for more than 16 years before becoming a consultant. I always heard consultant support was so accommodating. That has not been my experience. Telling you to use it as a $30 decor piece. The marketing is deceiving. I love scentsy warmers because of their design quality. But man lately they have had Q/A issues. I don’t think your upset is irrational at all. It’s a defective design that was not disclosed. Hope they make it right.

I gave 1 star, and explained why. That review has not been approved. In fact, there are no reviews on it, which I find odd. I have never had a review take so long to appear on the website. I truly hope they are not preventing bad reviews from being shown. If they aren't going to put on the website, it only lights up halfway, they should at least let people read about it in the reviews.     They just recalled the sunflower bouquet warmer so maybe they'll recall this one. It's a kot to pay for something that doesn't light all the way up. Disappointing for sure

They have chosen not to publish my one-star review on their website on this specific warmer, which would at least warn customers.     Definitely poor design on the tiny Christmas Tree - also the Santa face warmer in the whiff box this month too. Looks hard to get wax out, plus too closed up especially if you have it plugged in to an outlet - I can’t imagine any throw from it and the black brows 😂 they should really match his beard 😂😂😂

      @@TheScentsLady I don’t think Scentsy was happy with that Santa face warmer and that’s why it became an “exclusive” item. A lot of people are saying it doesn’t fit on a table top base. Why send out something that doesn’t fit the table top base? Sad they are doing stuff like this. The consultants will have to deal with angry customers and probably shell out their own money for replacing/shipping fee. It’s not right.

      @Lifesagifteveryday in my Holiday haul video I tried and couldn't get the Saint Nick mini to fit on a tabletop base either!! I thought it was just mine made wonky, but that's so sad to hear others are having the same issue!! That would be another design flaw and definitely shouldn't have to pay to return it if they are unhappy with it not being able to be used on a tabletop base! Hopefully, Scentsy corrects all these issues and makes it right. 😕

But I called Scentsy the other day and informed them my negative reviews of this warmer on the website weren't getting approved..and those magically are now appearing on the website! So at least people can go and read the reviews now!
