I'm new to conventions. Was new about 5 years ago. Finally started watching after watching Gilmore
Jared has talked about his struggles with depression and his story actually found me at a very bad point in my life and it and his slogan “always keep fighting” saved me. I like the show and have watched every season, but seeing these guys in real life interacting with fans is where I truly respect them. I’m not a fanboy of the show but it is a great one and even though I hated a few of the later seasons I still watch.

Im a 1D and supernatural fan, i like various things that have nothing to do with eachother i can go from disney movies to game of thrones.
im not of those "passionate" type of fan, i wouldnt scream for anybody i find it annoying and pointless.
I would probably cry though if I ever met an actor /singer /youtuber etc that i really like ,mainly because as im from Argentina and all the actors, singers,etc im a fan of i know im never going to meet(concider yourself lucky)it would shock me more than someone that has many chances of meeting their idols so i would most likely cry,becuase all the ones that i really like its because i find them extremely inspiring,or they had brought a good amount of happiness into my life with idk ,things they said ,did ,way of thinking,and stuff.

+Erika Pena LOL!!!!! I know!!!!! My husband is super sensitive and he cries pretty easily. I never cry except when I imagine myself meeting J2. It;'s then I cry like a little girl. I've watched the show since the very first episode. I fell in love with both Jensen and Jared. They're both so talented and they're so gracious to us. All the actors on this show are. They're all just amazing. I don't dislike anybody on this show. I would do anything to meet them. It's just so expensive. My husband works full time and he has a really good job, The only problem is I'm disabled and can't work.Disability checks only go so far. I just can't afford it.

I have a really weird reaction to meeting famous people. Like, I don't squeee or get super grabby. I honestly get petrified and run away from them as fast as I can. It's a curse because when I was 9 years old I met Hillary Duff (huge fan at the time) at an air port and I literally just bumped into her said "uh, ah, um" and ran away.

It will be interesting to see how I react when I go to a convention and see any of the SPN cast. I've never been in a position where I would meet anyone who I considered famous. Chances of actually meeting any of the cast face to face will be very slim, probably nonexistent, but going to the panels will more than likely cause me to fangirl at least a little bit.

I adore that this fandom love the main cast's partners almost as much (if not just as much) as they love the cast themselves. In so many fandoms especially when people are lusting over the actor/singer/celebrity, whenever that person gets in a relationship their partner is just attacked by toxic "fans"; I haven't seen that in the SPN fandom. Everyone (rightly so) seems to adore Gen (I know she was part of the cast, but only for a season), Danneel (same with her, part of the cast but not a big part), and Vicky

I always told myself if I saw an actor I loved I would be totally cool …. then I went to a Walking Dead convention and passed Jeffrey Dean Morgan in a side corridor as he was being escorted to a panel. Just me, him and one security guy. As I walked towards him, I told myself I would smile, nod casually and maybe say hi …. which was fine until we actually passed at which point I giggled like a teenager (I was 53 🙈), felt my cheeks flush, let out some kind of squeak and then pretty much ran down the corridor towards the loos. I dread to think what would happen if I ever met J2 😂😂😂

See I live in Vancouver ( the city where alot of movies are filmed) so.. half the time if you walk into a Starbucks or something near a set you will run into someone famous. So meeting people famous doesn’t bother me..
