It's sad to see that pictures and video fail to capture the raw beauty of the experience. Just did Going To The Sun Road yesterday, and it's so unbelievably gorgeous the whole time. I did the road going east to west, and oh my goodness, what a treat. If you're considering checking out this park, just know that it's so much more magnificent than any video or picture will show you

We couldn't agree more!
You need to make a reservation in MARCH just to drive on one of the four overcrowded roads in JULY. A separate reservation is required for each of the four roads! I was there 20 years ago and it was pleasant, but now I will wait another 10 years to go back. You folks can have at it. Nothing ruins a vacation more than crowds of people, lines of cars and no parking.
