This is my home town and you know what after moving out of there I miss it and would love to move back. I always used to call Kent a shit hole but no where is better but home is home when your home sick
Huge amount of houses / flats being built now in Chatham . Hundreds ! I live in Luton just up from the Arches . It's considered to be a rough area but I have never encountered any issues . New shops opening up in the High Street . Good grief we even have a sushi bar . I walk to work and back daily often in the dark and have never had a problem , and I'm a feeble old lady 😂

Well I was born in chatham and lived there untill 1983 move to here so this is my home town now don't recognise it any more sad to say.

Yes it's quite cheap here but the crime rate is what is to worry about, very unsafe to be out in public here

Chatham hasn’t changed much but at least it’s not gone to shit like many high streets.
