I have two cousins with autism and it made me a little teary to see the pasta lab. Places like that are so needed and it looks like a great place for people to work. It is wonderful to see someone so successful to take the time to build a program like that. Great video.
He's over there eating the fvcking best foods in the world (foods I could only dream of eating) and I'm over here about to microwave fvckin easy mac in the individual plastic bowls bc it's 1am, I'm 6 months pregnant, and I'm too hungry to make a PB&J sandwich, much less a high class dinner that sends me on some sort of orgasmic food experience.
I went to casa Maria Luigia and the estate really is breathtaking. The artwork, the music room, the gardens, you instantly feel welcomed and at home. However, I somewhat was disappointed with the tasting menu. It sure was good and showed off a mastery of culinary techniques as well as providing an excellent service, but in my opinion it really is for people who doesn't mind AT ALL spending 500 euros for a meal (with wine pairing). That is the only way I could recommend dining at Casa Maria Luigia. I couldn't encourage someone to save for a long period of time and sacrifice other experiences to get a seat at Fransescana. However, when you wake up in the morning, you are in for a treat when showing up for breakfast, which was in my opinion, much more memorable. I ate at restaurants where for the price of one person at Francescana, you could get 6 people to eat exquisite food, with incredible wine and near perfect service. I still love Massimo with all my heart for creating such an experience. ✌️
Just discovered your channel (yes, late to the party) and wow. The pacing is perfect, the way you shoot footage of the food is an art form and even the fonts used fit the overall tone. Thanks for sharing your passion!
I'm not usually amazed by fine dining plating but the psychedelic dish is absolutely beautiful. The surprise dinner is just really interesting. No wonder that those dishes are famous
As an autisitc dude, that second restaraunt is very sweet and a really good way to get a group of people usually not good with stressful environments to get involved in food.
@@an.20.24 Sublimotion in Ibiza has a tasting menu which I remember correctly was around $1,800 and probably more now. There are also quite a few 100+ course tasting menus well over $1000 where dinner service can be hours long
thanks a lot for this round of delicious food and accommodation, the music room is an audiophile dream come true, I would add to the mastery of Massimo il refettorio in Milano or it's sibling in 🙏Geneva
The World's 50 best restaurants in the world used to be a list from a British Magazine called " Restaurant " owned by a UK media company named William Reed Ltd that still owns the rights to this day. Until 2018 the restaurant that won the first place could compete the next year also and could be voted again to "defend" their #1 spot but after 2018 they decided that everytime a restaurant wins the #1 spot it cannot be voted again. You can see the winners of each year and the list here : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World%27s_50_Best_Restaurants
Francescana osteria isn't the best restaurant in the world right now but it was before. Massimo is genius of his art and one of the greatest chefs ever but damn the narcissism for taking credit for every little thing everyday without failure is really something lmao
I'm sure you've been asked this before but how are you able to do this financial not trying to question your financial status but how do you go to these places even if it's based on your youtube channel just curious.
The tastiest thing about elite dishes is small sizes😅 When you don't have enough time to get used to the flavour, everything will taste amazing. Unlike home food when it is one big bowl of one taste.
Wine is absolutely crucial to understanding and engaging with this food. You need to start addressing that. "I dont drink wine," is simply not good enough as an answer.
alcoholics getting mad at others for not drinking is such a weird one like literally just caring about you health is met with vitriol it’s really depressing
Those are very tiny courses. They don’t look like filling Just my opinion, I feel like he’s only catering to the very wealthy, so if he loves what he does, he’s not making the foods available for everyone to enjoy

Yeah, the pasta lab its really a wonderful thing. Im so happy they provide that kind of space.
I think his son has autism so he is empathetic to the needs of these sort of programs.
I should probably stop watching your videos when I’m hungry.
Agreed
