Suggest me one thing I was preparing from 2022 jan and given my 1st pre in 2024 (did not cleared it) i'm 25 y old and on 2 feb RPSC-RAS pre is there . Now the problem is 1- RAS pre is very factual and i did not prepared till now but i have little bit of knowledge about the paper as i had given it once in 2023 but could not cleared it with a huge marks ( scored 40 and cut off was 95) and i scored 40 bcs of studying for only 10 days for this exam . 2- i had not written a single answers till now , optional completed (note making based on pyqs dimensions) done with note making of gs2 and gs3 but did not written a single answer and did not revived till now. 3- no clue about ethics and essay 4- already done with my pre notes but yes i have to revise them still static is not that good . Now what do u suggest me This is my 2nd pre but already completed my 3 years journey and 2025 will be my 4th years in upsc preparation. 25 y old No job , yes my family financial condition is good but fir bhi. Biggest problem is procrastination not even completing my small targets and just wasting my time here and there on scrolling. Jo chiz i know i can do it in 3hrs for that i'm taking 1 day or 2days . Don't know how to get in discipline ( preparing from my hometown only but yes i know very much about upsc exam the only thing is wasting time and i don't want to messed up my future.
Procrastination is a problem we all deal with, but you seem to be lacking the core motivation and drive towards doing the hard work. What I would suggest is that you re-evaluate why you want to give this exam. Just continuing as you have been doing so far, as detailed in your comment, is going to result in similar outcomes in the future.
Generally as you grow more familiar with a subject your reading speed goes up in that subject. Increasing it just for the sake of reading faster, at least in the beginning, doesn't make sense because in the beginning you want to slowly but surely absorb all the concepts.
Kitne ghante padh rahe ho bhaiya? :P On a serious note, test giving and test review time should be 1:1 ratio. Meaning 2 hours of test equals two hours of review. Ensure that you're doing this to the get the most benefit out of giving the tests.
Sir, are your CSE courses taken in English ? I'm not into understanding Hindi so well. Also, if I am just beginning my CSE prep now, should I prepare for 2025 or straightaway for 2026?
All our courses are in English medium. If you've just started preparation, you would have a better shot of clearing 2026. Personally I would still recommend that you give a shot at 2025, because there's nothing like a deadline to make us focused. But realistically, you won't be clearing the exam in 2025, unless you have already spent some time preparing for your optional.
Sir I read 15 -19pages in 1hour ..it's ok sir ..sir will I improve my reading speed ? And sir then how many pages should be read each day ..😊😊plz tell me sir 🙏

I would say, it would be very tiresome if you can only read 5pages per hour... And then aim to read 50 pages a day... You'll feel like you're doing a lot of work but it's not materialising... As for me I read only 30 pages a day at average reading speed of 15pages/hour and newspaper and current affairs... It seems more productive to me than to achieve 50 page target because last 20 pages that I would read, I could never retain that...
You might be under using your time this way. But in the end, you are the best judge of your efforts. If what you're doing is working for you, keep doing that. All the best!
