I think I found it on eBay a could of years ago. I will be making a better version of the barrel band for the M3 and M4 soon. They will be available at www.backyardairguns.com.
@@backyardairguns if you ever give them a chance, try them out on the M4. I’ve had good luck with them. My tune is about 110 bar, valve 4th line, micro adjustment to about 3.8, and hammer wheel to 9. Average 884 fps with a std of 1.1 and spread of 3. Pellet on pellet at 100 yards
The only interna upgrade from stock on this M3 is it has the heavier hammer from the FX M3 in 357 cal. I for the weight, but it is slightly heavier than stock.
Sub MOA and low 1 MOA is awesome. I don’t know much about FX M3. Is your rifle stock our have you made power mods or barrel liner changes? I’m guessing it’s a 700 mm tube?
What up Motor? Sub MOA in light rain at 100 yards is pretty good for me. The FX M3 is my competition rifle. Internally, it has heaver hammer and it has a slow twist pellet liner. I did put the larger 700cc tank on it. It's really fun to shoot long range.
Nice information!! I know when the red panda released they had them shooting those aea 50 gr up there in the mid 900’s. I thought that was too fast but maybe not. Will have to try some of those. Have you shot them at normal pellet speed ? If so how did they do ?
Good luck finding the AEA 50g pellets; they are sold out everywhere. They shoot well at any speed, but they really shine at high speed. I have another video coming soon on me shooting them in an AEA 30 Cal Challenger Pro at 100 yards. I cranked the rifle up as high as I could and was shooting them at 1,100+ fps. I was hitting 1.4 MOA at 100 yards with a rifle that's not known for 100 yard accuracy. These pellets shoot like slugs in that the faster you shoot them, the better they do.
@@backyardairguns Ok yeah I remember reading on AGN they were sold out. I wonder what it is about them ? Magic pixie dust sprinkled on them at the factory? lol. I bet other makers are analyzing them like crazy
Love this video as always keep up the good work
I'm your biggest fan! 😁
@@backyardairgunsI will be making a new power test today if it doesn't rain. Lol
Wow, your a great shooter!
Just saw your M4 video. I want one.
Awesome information!! Appreciate your hard work! 👍🏻♥️
Thanks Robert! The rifle really shot well at the range. It was a fun video to make.
Great vid buddy. Very informative indeed 👍
Thanks Triple. I just found your channel and subscribed. :-)
@@backyardairguns Thanks buddy , hope you like it 👍
Man this makes me wanna get the m4
I've been looking at the M4 also. It's on my list. :-)
Where did you get the barrel clamp?

Great video but what is your comparison with a jsb 50gr ?
I've always heard the JSB 45s were best in class over the 50g. I have not tried the JSB in 50g at 100 yards.

Just curious, did you make any internal upgrades on the impact? Heavier hammer weight or anything?
The only interna upgrade from stock on this M3 is it has the heavier hammer from the FX M3 in 357 cal. I for the weight, but it is slightly heavier than stock.
@@backyardairguns thanks! So basically there needs to be some upgrades for those heavy .30 cal pellets?
I slightly heavier hammer does seem to work well on the FX M3 30 cal with those three pellets.
Will the AEA center punch will perform good in .177 also ??
That's a great question. I have not used the AEA in 177 cal. I know the 25 Cal AEA pellets shoot very well.
Not a fan boi of fx, but kool video 👍🏻
Thanks
So I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting also. Are you using the 1:22 pellet liner, or the 1:40 liner? Oh yeah, great videos bye way!!! 👍
I using the slow twist pellet liner. I forget what the rate is, but I know it is the slow twist for pellets. Thanks for watching!
