Epsilon Act II - Mission 24 - Operation: Babel
Location: Epsilon Headquarters, Antarctica
Player: The Epsilon Army
Decades in the making, finally, Yuri's vision of the world is nearly complete. With the Proselyte's guidance, the Creation has matured. There is only but one direct threat to Yuri's Tower left, and the weapon against it is in the hands of Epsilon. The final stage of the race against time itself begins.

In this mission, You have 8 objectives :
"1" Get Libra to the Mental Omega Device.
"2" Protect the Mental Omega Device until it's activated.
"3" Destroy the Paradox Engine.
"4" Destroy all Weather Controllers and Protect Yuri's Tower.
"5" infiltrate 3 ConYards to enter the Paradox Engine.
"6" Infiltrate at least one of the Paradox Conductors.
"7" Destroy the Paradox Engine and Protect the Tower.
"8" Commence Yuri's Mental Omega.

The MO team really nailed it this time. I mean, although Epsilon has the upper hand in this mission it's still super intense, we can truly feel how despair the Allied is!
Desperate. If the soviets didn't got tricked by Yuri's ruse, it is possibly that Epsilon won't have any chance of beating them both regardless if the two factions work together or not.
@@TricksterPoi Only if the Allied would. Soviet killed the president, nuked Chicago and black forest, burns many cities. The only condition they will take is surrender without condition.
@@TricksterPoi iron dragon and iron curtain can kill libra easily, besides cyborg vanguard with scud launcher can break any fortification epsilon can make
@@TricksterPoi If the Soviets got note of the Mental Omega Device, they would have annihilated it with a rain of nukes the moment all the Spathas were destroyed.
@@llSuperSnivyll That's not possible I'm afraid. Yuri have controlled the Kremlin before Death's hand mission, which mean he controlled the Soviet's most of Nuke silos. So they can't do the rain of nukes even they know that.
The only option for the Soviet is leak that Intel to China and use them to launch their nukes to it. But who knows if China will do things otherwise since Soviet have pissed them up for all things they have done in their soil.
The only thing that could make this mission better is if the psychic dominator sound and graphic were changed to reflect that Yuri is dead and that either Libra's or the Proselyte's will is now being used to control it.
Propably Death's Hand, Hamartia and Babel happened at the same time. So at the time soviet is about to hunt Yuri is also the time the Engine going to put final blow to the device.
now we just need the animated cutscenes and voice acting and this will be the most and best ra mod
Since 2019, and I had a plan for that already. But it won't begin and become ready yet.
Just 2 days ago I came with the plan to voice the Scorpion Cell Scourge as my first unit with voicelines ripped from other C&C games to replace with my own voice.

At this point Mental Omega feels like an entirely new game than RA2 or YR. But i supposed people can enjoy it to their heart's content.

@@Foehn i just feel like the mod itself, though RICH in content. Strays too much from what makes it command and conquer.
Often times it feels like I'm playing Supreme Commander, or StarCraft than Red Alert. It's fun but the direction and story the mod took is a bit insane for me. And perhaps a bit weebish as well.
@@billyxxxx1738 Yeah, this mod has a lot of content, but doesn't feel like it belongs in Red Alert. It just utterly misses the tone and atmosphere of those games.

The story definitely feels better than RA2 or YR. Though story wise I've always preferred stuff like Tiberian sun/wars then the hyper wacky stuff in RA2 and 3.
So the Paradox Engine really is a TARDIS, just a weak one. But, it also has lasers.
im just impressed that Mental Omega is like a "Black Mesa Outcome" or simply a sample of a great remake of a game, although it has flaws like unbalanced factions and bugs, but yet manage to make a new story out from the main lore and expanded it further more and a has a good replayablity.
The infiltration part was awesome since I never expected anything like that to work in Red Alert 2.
I'm genuinely impressed at the password entry segment. I have no idea how on earth they made that work, wrangling the engine to pull that off must have been insane
I was 9 in 2003 when I started Red Alert 1 and have been a fan of Command and Conquer ever since, I love Mental Omega in all of those versions.
What a very cool mission, I love this!!
If only the mod team can also make cutscenes, Udo Kier make a return as Yuri would be so great

Okay, my take in the order of playing Act II was:
Soviet 24 (Unrelated to Mental Omega)
Allied 24 (Paradox Engine Destroyed)
Foehn 6 (Paradox Engine Recovered)
Epsilon 24 (Allied Defeat)
Either play it that way or play
Epsilon - Allied - Foehn. It's up to you
Did moon base doesn't count, that place only base out mental omega range effect.

During the last wave it says Rahn has fallen and now you are on your own, but he resurrected in the final cutscene to congrat you anyway
The Tower of Babel is quite symbolic. It shows how close Yuri is to Godhood, and that if The Allies or Soviets don't destroy it, all of us would become mind controlled puppets for eternity. Its quite saddening, you can just imagine the despair and anxiety felt by the normal soldiers. If they fail, the world is doomed.
Mental omega went full weeb mode on the concept of libra, yunru, fin & alize, uragan and eureka and I love it.
For someone that get 3 or 2 infiltrators
You need only "one" infiltrator to infiltrates any of prism conductor other 2 you can send them to died. It's unaffected on phase VI at all.
it does thou, the 2nd infiltrator reduce the amount of tanks. idk about what the 3rd one does/
Infiltrating one conductor disabling 2 prism cannons, infiltrating them all disables all cannons
Every successful Infiltrator disables two Prism Cannons, up to all six of them (which is the canon result as that's what happens in Hamartia).

This is absolutely amazing, the only thing I don't get is why all of mental omega is so dark color wise, I wish I could see all those beautiful models better.
Holy shit the:
1st part is the whole ra 3 yuriko campaign
2nd part is straight up regroup and survive, (It was kind of a missplay wasting archer to attack the engine)
3rd part ligitimatly dance of blood but everything hate you(Ganzir defender op pls nerf)
4th part is just the super weapon challenge but time is way limited And just straight up WARNING:WARNING:WARNING: WTF IS GOING ON, in a nutshell
5th.... nothing to say though... It still really hard though
6th.... OK WTF is going on... First there's so much tank. Second: Laser literally go brrr.... third: She turned herself into a disco ball... Funniest shit i ever seen

I still wanna know what happened during the aftermath of this, Hamartia, and Death's Hand.
Since the Paradox Engine was still saved and if the surviving members of the Soviets be would still know the existence of the Mental Omega device and the journey of the Allied forces that tried to stop it.
It's the best mod I've ever seen.
So malver can resist Libras power? Hes killing the epsilons. He might be wandering for safety, or perhaps... Eitherway did Libra die? Since she insisted to "finally rest"...?
This mission was the whole campaign in one map.

All endings are the true endings and not alternate
@@dpmfarmasiump753 All factions campaigns are all in the same timeline, not alternate. Therefore, the epsilon victory is canon.
All of them happened in the same timeline, not like vanilla which are soviets and allied have their own endings. I think the order of the endings based on the timeline are first from allied then it will have the continuation in the foehn final mission, then epsilon where the tower activated, then soviet which at the end they succumbed to the tower, and finally foehn where they try to create time bubble with the help of the remaining allied forces teleported from near the tower while their forces slowly turn into yuri's by the tower activation. Theoretically, allied and soviet fail. But there are some remnant of allied from Arctic and remaining forces teleported from Antartica and some remnant of soviets on the moon. They will create foehn

Libra is Yuriko's predecessor but unrelated to the timeline since the RA3 timeline is negated in MO

All of them are Canon. The Soviet ending was a distraction by Yuri to ensure the Soviets wouldn't join the attack on Antarctica. The Epsilon and Allied endings are basically the same with the Allied attack ultimately failing and the Mental Omega partially activating while the remaining Allies are chronoshifted to Alaska, where they join the proto-Foehn and manage to create a safe haven at Point Hope. Meanwhile the victorious Soviets fall under the Mental Omega except the forces still on the Moon.
On normal there are 3 tank robots on stage five how can i pass them?
You should send only one Infiltrator into a Conyard.

Malver is still alive. He's resistant enough to withstand the global mind control courtesy of the neurotoxin drugs from the Survivors Special Ops.
