Nice review. I just got these and quite enjoy them. They sound crazy with how holographic and 3D-like they are! And I always appreciate the Polyphia shout-out. Cheers from USA!
I just ordered some CFA Mammoths... my first IEMs and I love rock, metal and techno when out and about so hopefully the bass will be awesome. But... I also listen to classical, jazz, folk... acoustic guitar and world music. What would be great IEMs in the 300-1000 range for those genres? Thanks!
I love japanese music. If these sound good with that, might have to get these come christmas. YOU LIKE EVE AND ONE OK ROCK?!!! HOLY FUCK BRO!!!! YESSSSS
Hello Audiolevels, off the topic I have a question, I saw Precogvision's(don't know if you know him😊) review of Oracle mk2 and he mentioned that all the Thieaudio line up Oracles mk1, mk2, Excalibur,Clairvoyance are somehow dampened in a bad way.I have the Oracle og, kind of understand what he means. What do you think about this dampened feeling.Cheers❗️👍🙋♂️
strange. i saw the video gizaudio talked about the BQEYZ Winter titled "What Happened to Thieaudio?" and he said nothing stood out to him and even the vocals were less engaging, and he's a j-pop and k-pop type of guy. any idea what's going on? his tonality preference is Thieaudio Oracle, DUNU SA6 Ultra, and Thieaudio Monarch Mk2 for reference. i was expecting him to be able to pick out the best IEMs for that genre, but seems an opposite is occurring. From what I recall, he picked the Moondrop Variations and the Sony IER Z1R for j-pop/anime genre. do you find the BQEYZ better for this genre than the above IEMs? Looking at the graph, the Winter seems to have a dip in the upper-mid frequencies, which might reduce presence of vocals and instruments, seemingly matching Gizaudio's impression. However, it does have a slope up for 1-2khz which enhances vocals. the dip from 8-10khz on the graph seems to be trying to reduce harshness, otherwise, treble seems balanced rather than boosted.
Maybe Im mistaken in this video, check out the other Kinera videos on the channel if your new. I love everything about them, its bonkers and they make stunning IEM's. My favourite IEM of all time is the .... with the Skuld in second :p
I gave these an iem a shot. Didn't like the sound at all and I listen to a lot of jpop. I find them to be too much, the highs I mean. And that ba timbre kills me! I personally would like a bit of subbass too, I found that lacking. I loved the fit though! It was fucking awesome. Also sad that it doesn't have different terminations. Which many iems at this range has. Also it's "akihabara" or "akiba" in short. And you are absolutely right about the different country and the music they listen too, people in China listen to music which has more treble. Kopi'o Kaya from audioreviews has a good insight into this and article in this. What I find the perfect balance was the timeless ae which keeps the treble down while offering me the details and the bass. I love planar bass! Yes I did have to change the tips to the straight white bore tips. Could you tell the name of the band you spoke about ? deave and gray? Sorry if I mispronounced and misheard. And it's fuji kaze ( pronounced as 'kaa' - 'zay'. Kaze means wind in japanese) Finally no waifu that's quite sad too :(

I absolutely love these! They are different and not in a bad way. Not the safest tuning but they do some things better than any iem I've listened.
First I thought this was a review about the Dawn Pro ! Excited about this video !

Timmy who painting own nails he is stood by harman soulless IEM’s like Variations. When men painting nails like a girl this should be strange for you 😂
No surprise from bqeyz the bqeyz spring1 was one of my first iems getting into audio years ago and they're exceptional
The really seem to push with the designs, really innovative and finished to a good standard. One to watch, this has been added to my rotation.
As a fan of both mythology and an avid reader, that comment about kinera killed me. I like their "marketing"

Good to know you listened to Dir-en-grey.
