I love the seemingly disconnected quests in this game. Thank you for showcasing this, I'd forgotten all about this, been thinking about trying to get the dome keys for a new character but I'd forgotten how to get them all.
Yes most people don't pay attention to the lore these days. if you fully explore a lot of the areas and read all the notes in the computers every once in awhile you come across a story that is connected. And although it may carry you around the map you find interesting things.
@@stompy676 the one that I always remember is the key in the house behind the auto shop (brain isn't working ATM so I can't recall the name of the shop something brother's repairs) and the basement at the mothman museum.

what the actual..... im over 900 hours in the game, know all the places you showed and go to the area around the domes regularly to farm starlight creeper berries. but I had NO idea, you can enter those domes??? damn - this is like new content for me :D thanks a lot mom!
If u accessed the terminal it lets u know 3 of the 8 (?) domes have something in them. That was my first hint. Then trying to find said keys was step 2.
You know, I've been burning myself out chasing white whale legendaries for what feels like forever that I've forgotten hidden quests like this one exist in Adventure Mode to be discovered and enjoyed by just... adventuring. Thanks for this. Such a big ass quest to do. I'm in the 300s and never did this mess. It's a shame the alien blaster sucks later on to the extent most people dont use it. Though for anybody that does daily ops bring in the broadsider. You'll get a lot of cannon balls that can be traded into the ammo convertor for a lot of points which can be used toward whatever it is you want to buy. And when I mean a lot of points I mean A LOT of points.

Wow after years of playing I was farming starlight berries close by as I don't farm this area much since the beginning and stumbled onto these dome's , searched google and your video popped up, . What an awesome questline and TYVM for the information and easy tutorial it was a blast to find those hidden locations.
Thank you for this. I already had the X-01 Quantum paint (and am so happy power armor displays are coming), but didn't know about these other plans or finding the Alien Blaster in the world.
Great guide! I finally did this, took about an hour but no more having to photo mode glitch in every time I go grab new plans. I sell the X-01 plans for about 1000 to 1500 caps and they sell rather quick. The other two, the T-51b Nuka paint and the Fusion Alien thing don't sell too well, but I still grab them and keep just throwing them up 500 caps, maybe 250 if I want to move them. They sell just not quick, it's OK, don't really need caps for anything these days.
Tons of great advice with this one, thank you! Might try a couple alien blaster legendary crafts with the next update, and then farm some ammo from daily ops

Instructions were clear and concise. I had no issues getting the keys. Of course Bethesda had to ruin everything by making me server hop 8 times to get the Nuka Cola PA skin plan.

Thanks for the video. I HATE quests like this. No reasonable person can do it with the in-game clues. I wish the game had more riddles that could be solved by paying careful attention.
Pretty much nobody farms them anymore so I go and give both paint plans to new players. And show them the domes. Btw thanks for all your great content! If I could recommend a game to you I'd say check out outer worlds very in dept game
Finally got through it and I encountered something weird. Dome 8 and another dome were accessible. But they just had their door open and when I went inside it was just random junk and a fusion core on the ground. As if they would have been in random stuff that just wasn't added to the dome. But a lot of the stuff was unrusted or untarnished. Kind of interesting. Have no idea why they just randomly where open for me. Maybe it was added to the game or just some weird glitch.

I got to the overlook cabin part and that one glitch you mentioned happen where you swipe the card and the wall doesn't open up. Man that just sucks. kind of a lot to go through just to have to restart everything. Because of garbage programing.
Maybe the domes will be available in late 2021 because of Tales from the Stars on the roadmap. The image on the roadmap shows a ufo. I’m probably very wrong tho lol. Great video btw really liking your content probably gonna sub!
There is no way somebody figured this out. There are no clues or trail to follow, nothing. It must have been leaked by Bethesda and spread by the internets. I had only two items in inventory and have almost 4,000 hours into the game now. I had no idea what the items were or what to do with them. Thank you for making the video. I now have keys 2,3,7, and 8. I will be visiting the vaults soon. I think you may have the most helpful videos that there are. I look forward to your video for the start of the new season soon, Thank you.
Hi so I did everything all the way to the Overlook cabin part, where I inserted the key cards and the wall opened but I did not entered. I was doing something else and than it closed. Now I tried to collect once again all the necessary keys and cards but I can not open the wall. I am missing my 2 ID keys they are not in the same places 😕. I need help
Sadly you have to start again. Watch the part if the video where the secret door opens. Either have a friend run inside for you in case you dont make it fast enough or run like heck out of the first room to the secret room
Same here, there's a note on the front door to come back later that they were changing things. We may have to wait on Bethesda to finish our adventure here.
Do you know if there is an issue with the generated keycode.? I went to Ingram mansion. Was jumped by an occultist whilst generating a keycode. And had to gen another. But when i got to Overlook after using the cards to get to the keypad it rejected the code as wrong.. Tried twice and had the same issue. I was wondering if this had been altered or updated.? Thanks for going through all the steps to get the keys tho. musta been a lot of work. :-)
I love how convoluted this entire thing is. No quest markers, nothing. I imagine the first person to do this was having fun literally treasure hunting

I wrote down the wrong number code for the keypad after you use your two card keys. How long do I have to wait before they respond?

It has always been a bit glitchy. Best to wait 24 hours and start again.
