Nice job on the roofing. We DID put on a standing seam roof on our off-grid home. It was a lot of work even though our pitch is 4/12. And I can empathize with putting on the ridge cap - you just have to grit your teeth and climb on board!
I have been struggling deciding between putting a standing seam roof on my house or through fasten. It's hard to justify the extra expense. I would be doing all the install, I am a sheet metal worker by trade. You're build looks nice, is that bare galvalume?
Do the ridge cap for England. 🤫 I love watching how well the two of you work together...I just worry about either of you working while tired and in the dark. Said the lady who put a 4x4 box on her tractor forks with a six foot ladder in the box and finished painting the peak of our winery building (25’) with a paint brush duct taped to a metal pipe to reach! 😆 Sometimes we just want to finish a project!
There's nothing more impressive than a compassionate man devoted and bleeding for his family so they can have food on the table and a roof over their head. And even more impressive, is to see a good devoted woman standing right beside him to achieve his goals. I love watching your videos.
My opinion, the two of you are and have done a superior job on all your building efforts. Most young couples would not even think of taking on a job like you have. Keep the great work up and you will be proud of what you have accomplished.

Looks to me like you employed the most intelligent safety inspector I've seen. In an industry full of turkeys, you found the best. You guys made this look a hell of a lot easier than the OSB sheeting. Well done!
the true beauty of a metal roof is that it will last over 50 yrs ( the school I went to first grade 1965, in is still standing, it has it's original standing seam copper roof - over 120 yrs old). Broad street school Walhalla SC

Very true comment on the roofing of an a frame .i have done two .one was an 18\12and the second was a 24\12 .standing on roof brackets and planks doing asphalt shingles .the metal roofing is a much safer way to go
