    It is great to see you again. Most importantly, it is wonderful to hear that you are doing what you have to, to take care of yourself. It might not seem like it, but, this is probably the most important video you have done. The honesty and realness you showed, will surely help someone else take their own steps to getting healthy. You keep doing what you have to do, that is reward enough for those of us, out here.
    People take for granted that YT'ers are just entertainers, and forget they are real people too. It is a basic matter of respect, to recognize that there is more to you guys. That the pressure to always show a happy face, is a tough thing to deal with. It's okay to be selfish, when it comes to your health. I wish you nothing but the best.

    i know how bad panic attacks can be. sorry you have to experience them. i have had them for 20 years. but i learned how to get out of them so its very rare to get them anymore. stay strong and i will always be a subscriber i can wait for your videos for as long as it takes. thank you and take care. message me when ever you need.

    I just found your videos this morning. I had a friend in college who struggled with anxiety to the point that he had some panic attacks. He had a difficult time leaving his dorm room. I had him for several undergraduate science and engineering classes, so I was able to help him by tutoring him whenever he missed classes.
    By the time that I graduated from university and commenced post-graduate study, my friend had somehow overcome his anxiety struggles. After I moved to California, he gave me a call. He was doing extremely well and working a job where he interacts with people on a daily basis.
    Good luck with everything! Your videos are wonderfully refreshing! It might be nice if you had a post office box by which subscribers could send things from various countries for you to try!
    America is such a large place! I am from the East Coast and I often purchase food items online that I have difficulty finding locally in California. In fact, I can easily purchase British food items (e.g., candy bars, chips, cookies, etc.) at several local supermarkets; yet, I cannot purchase my favorite brand of potato chips (Utz) that are readily available in New England. I suspect that the same is true of many countries.
    Some regional items in my area of California (San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley) include: Ghirardelli Chocolates, Jelly Belly jelly beans, salt water taffy, sour dough bread, Dutch Crunch breads, various Asian American items, Mexican American items, etc. I live in Palo Alto, California -- and we have a great candy and soda shop downtown called "Rocket Fizz." It offers a plethora of sodas and candy items from all over the country (and foreign countries). It would be nice to send you a box of such things!

    Thanks for sharing your story. Your story is eerily similar to my childhood. I finished the last few years of high school online because I couldn't stay in a classroom without freaking out and teachers basically thought I was ditching classes. Been on and off anxiety meds since 15 and I notice a HUGE difference when I don't take them. Im 25 now and make sure to take them every day cause it helps me soooo much. I know it's hard, but just try and keep your head up and try and find a friend or family member to talk to about it when you need. Don't let people try and make you feel like your anxiety isn't a problem. They're not the one who has to deal with it daily. I went to 3 different doctors before i found one that I felt actually understood. And I also informed my current employer and they're very understanding about giving me space or a "breather" when I need it.

    I also have general anxiety as well, mine was a 24/7 thing as well, and the anxiety would cause me to feel depressed.
    I was a horrible feeling, I couldn't figure out what caused it.
    Now I am on medication, and it actually helps a lot, I do get an occasional anxiety attack, but fortunately it is minor.
    I know more or less what you are going through, just know you are not alone. Much love and hope you start to feel better

      That makes three of us. Mine mostly revolves around work. I managed school, but I just can never keep a job for long because of anxiety and becoming depressed. It sucks feeling like that and I will just lose it before work in the mornings all the time. I've been avoiding doctors and medication, but I think maybe should give it a try. Thank you for sharing Grim and Aimee! You're definitely not alone.

    BabyGirl, I'm going to stay subscribed. I adore you! I suffer from social anxiety, but the Libra in me drives me to be social! I'm a walking oxymoron. I'm super shy and to be around people terrifies me, but I feel my voice needs to be heard. In my work setting....people think I'm uber social. But, in a work meeting when called on...I sweat, stutter and can't even say my name.

    I think one of the things that's helped me most with my own anxiety is trying to see the fun elements in the things i fear and also try and get a buzz out of those panicky sensations. because those feelings of anxiety are similar to the feelings of excitement- fast heart beat, adrenalin etc

However, confronting a fear is a way of telling yourself that your fear will not take over your life. Small steps.     You're the best!! You're way stronger then you think. Don't feel bad for not posting things, you have your own life live it be in the now. One thing I always try to remember is that I never have to do anything I don't want to do and not one can make me. I know it sounds kiddish but it helps. I won't unsubscribe even if you post once every 3 months!! 😆

    I actually had a TH-cam channel with a few hundred subscribers and ended up just quitting out of the blue and deleting the channel due to my anxiety. I regret that decision to this day because of all the friends I lost from doing that. I've been struggling for a long time with anxiety and depression so I can relate to you Aimee. It's hard to make and keep friends, go to work, go shopping, socialize. Thank you for posting this video and talking about what's going on. I don't wish any ill will upon anybody, but it does help to share about this with others dealing with the same things. You're the best Aimee! I wish you all the best in everything you do!

I'm sorry you went through such a difficult period, I suffer from anxiety too, and I know it can take control and not let go. I'm glad you're talking about it though, because that's a big step in getting through it. I really enjoy your tasting videos, and your reeses dance,...I think that's how everybody who loves reeses feels when they eat it 😁! You're a bright ray of sunshine in my sometimes dismal existence and I can only hope, that when you're feeling better, that you make more tasting videos.     Aimee, let me tell you one thing. You are not alone. At all. I suffer with anxiety too and I'm in college also (which I believe is the American equivalent of the British university. Forgive me if I'm wrong.) My story is as follows: I was diagnosed with a form of high functioning (barely there) autism called Asperger's Syndrome when I was in 6th grade after some of my behavior and habits struck my teachers as odd and I started to see the in school therapist. I would get very stressed because of school and often cry when my mom picked me up. I struggled socially as well and usually kept to myself. This is the way things were until my senior (last) year of high school. I was under the care of the school disabilities sector all the while (I don't know if that's the right word for this but what the heck hahaha). At this point, I had been through a few therapists and this was due to me growing and changing and with that my needs did as well, some in home, another who I was currently with in an office and she recommended that I see a psychiatrist (doctor) friend of hers after I had described some traits to her that I felt I had that were reminiscent of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Now, I hadn't been to a doctor since I had been diagnosed with autism in 6th grade. I went and my world changed. The doctor told my mom and I that she believed that I showed more symptoms of an OCD patient than an autism patient and that was that. I came out of that session with a diagnosis of OCD, GAD (General Anxiety Disorder), and social anxiety as well as the start of the medication I was to take. That is where I currently stand. My medicine has changed quite a bit since that first meeting in January of last year but things have definitely been looking up for me in these last few months. And as for the college anxiety, you should have seen me when I first started back in September. I was an absolute mess. I started out with what my college considered a full course load which was 15 credits which consisted of 5 classes and was driving up to the main campus of my college which was about 45 minutes from home and had me driving on a major highway for most of the drive. I don't live there because I don't go to that kind of school. I go to what's called community college and live at home. I started and absolutely freaked out. I cried, screamed, kicked, rolled. I had the worst anxiety imaginable. I cut down my course load to 3 classes, still driving to the main campus, and tried that. I was still freaking out. At that point I dropped everything and completely left school. That lasted for about a weekend because I realized that if I really want to have the best possible future for myself, which I do no questions asked, I needed a college degree. So I decided to go to a campus of my college that was much closer to home and actually is right around the corner from my high school. I picked up 1 English class and finished that with a 90 average. Right now I am still at that campus and only taking two classes. The second English and Sociology. I am as happy as ever and have come to terms with my anxiety and the fact that I am not a normal college kid. I'm not the kid who takes a normal course load and gets out of college in 4 years and that's ok. College is all about going at your pace and that's the thing I love about it. I can take as long as I need to, as long as I am my healthiest and best self. In telling you all this, the one thing I want you to remember is you are not alone. EVER. I am always here for you and we're in this together. I love you Aimee and commend you for being so brave as to come out and tell your story. It isn't an easy thing to talk about but it is definitely freeing and an often times make you feel a lot better because others can come and tell you their struggles and have you realize we're all one big army in this fight.     As an older student (40's). You need to do what you need to do. As a fellow anxiety sufferer, focus on school, not TH-cam. I was a DJ at my college radio station, and had to quit due to anxiety. I'm actually going to school to help people with mental illnesses.Anxiety and depression go hand and hand. I suffer from Clinical depression with anxiety. You don't need to apologize. ❤️❤️

    It's good to see you again, I hope that you are able to find a bit of peace every day. I remember when I took an computer science course at my university, I love everything about computers now because of that course... I remember being so overworked and tired at the end of every day. Taking apart the CPUs, running start-up code, installing operating systems, and managing the cooling system of servers it was exhausting and frustrating, but I loved every minute of it. What I am trying to say is, I want you to be happy with whatever it is your doing, and I hope everything continues to go well for you.

    I'm so glad you've found some good doctors and therapists. It's really vital to have the right support. I totally understand your reason for not doing TH-cam videos. If you decide to come back I will be happy, but your mental health and quality of life is the most important. I'll stay subscribed for your life updates :-) I have depression and anxiety too. I take Celexa for it (citalopram), it's an antidepressant but it's supposed to help with anxiety as well. I have a rescue med for panic attacks that I take as needed. I hope you find the right cocktail of meds and therapy to help you deal with all of this. xxx

    My anxiety started in year 6.
    It's undiagnosed but it is quite obvious I have it.
    (also too scared to go to a doctor 😂)
    but anyway in y6 we had a week away with school away from home.
    I just had breakdowns every night and just panicked over everything that was happening. I just asked loads of questions.
    we were also given 'chores' and mine was to check the shower room.
    I noticed on my first day that the doors on the shower were low and me being fairly tall I felt that it would be an uncomfortable experience as I am a shy person anyway.
    I decided to ask my teacher and tell her about my worries.
    She helped me, she told me to make sure I wake up before most of the others and wait for her in my dormitory.
    She would then take me down to the shower room before we would usually go so that I could go alone and not needing to worry.
    she would guard the door of the shower room so nobody would enter.
    Then came year 7...
    my anxiety got worse just from waking up and travelling, catching busses, going from class to class and basically just being there made me feel panicked.
    I'm now in year 8 and I feel as though it has gotten worse or developed more.
    I'm fine other than that, like I've only had small panic attacks nothing HUGE.

    It's good to see you back on TH-cam Aimee. I understand that you haven't posted any videos for a while not only due to university commitments but also due to anxiety that I remember you mentioning in one of your live TH-cam chats. I also get anxious from time to time, for example when one of my housemates moved out to her own studio flat next door but now she shares another flat with her boyfriend and I'm due to move to my own soon.

      YoucancallmeA My move did go well thank you despite finding its preparation stressful. I've been living in my own flat for two months now and have mostly been happy there since. I have even invited my friend I mentioned in my original comment over a few times but I'm visiting her at her and her boyfriend's flat at the moment because she has recently been in hospital with a leg infection and is finding it difficult to walk as she recovers from the infection. I had a lovely time at her flat on Sunday evening and she gave me a Frozen themed necklace as a belated birthday present.

    To all that have anxiety I just wanna say that I love you guys cause I also have it and it feels horrible , but I always focus on the positive cause I know we can work with it , right now I also decicded to take things slow and take everything that comes step by step , when I have things to worry about I only worry at home and not at work , journaling also helps.Sometimes we need to take all our frustration and sadness out it is not bad to cry its bad when we hide our emotions this video you made is step in the right direction cause I also mention to family that I have anxiety and they have been really supportive of me which helps tons Thank you for taking the time to making videos that entertains us you all of our support you're amazig person :)

    Oh my goodness I've missed your videos so much!!!!! I admire you for being able to talk about this on TH-cam because sometimes talking about anxiety and depression sucks. I kinda get how you feel. I thought my mental health was doing great, and then I started my second year of university. Same happened my first year. So I get why you wouldn't want to be filming; university would take up most of your energy and stuff. :) I hope you're doing well and that you're doing okay managing everything. :)

    I'm a Uber driver, and I get Anxiety with certain passengers, I was getting nightmares. So, learn to do something physical and out loud. After a annoying ride, I brush my shoulder and say out loud, "I will forget this trip in 2 minutes" works so far
    Maybe you can do the "Dance" when things start to get crazy

    It is funny how those with anxiety and depression seem to find others that struggle. I watch you and Cheeky Tam to escape my racing thoughts and depression. Thank you for sharing your story. I will eat a Reese's egg on Easter and think of you ;) Come back when you are ready!

    Same thing here. I'd be seeing something grand while traveling and instead of enjoying it, I'd be reviewing the safest way back to the metro. Busparin wasn't good for me (tinnitus when on it). Don't stop keeping challenging yourself but do it slow and easy. As you get older, and adult stuff becomes more familiar you get better. Hang in!

    I had a girlfriend that had anxieties too. She had different therapists until she found one that fits her better. Everyone is different. A therapist may be good for the one but isn't good for the next.

    one thing you might try, is just a talk time to a video, I have missed youre video's but sometimes you need to find a new method that works. you might try to talk to a camera a bit even if you dont post The footage, it still does some therapy aspects of letting you talk out your mind without judgement and whatever you do post we will support and love to watch. thank you for telling us what's going on, and know that you'll always have a community out here wishing you well, and good wishes.

    Come to the US. We have an extra room at our place. We live on a farm in the middle of no where with no internet access or cell phone reception. It is a pretty stress free.

    It's too bad we don't live near one another - I might be able to help with your anxiety issues a bit. A friend of mine has social anxiety and depression issues, and she told me that I helped her. I think that this is true because she is much more in control now and much less susceptible to her issues than when we first met. The techniques aren't rocket science or preconceived behavioral health snobbery or anything, but rather mostly just basic self behavior modification, learning to embrace the healthy forms of selfishness, and developing one's own force of will.
    Anyway, I hope all goes well for you and that you get what you need to succeed (and some Reese's cups...that probably couldn't hurt). Nice to see you back Aimee. :)

    I would love to see personal videos because although I love love love your taste test videos, it would be nice to see you speaking naturally like in this video. especially now that your audience knows this, I think it would be very obvious to us if you were faking a smile, which no-one should ever feel the need to do.     i have done CBT twice and its never worked for me i went to another doctor and found i was bi polar also with general anxiety
