- This is my Wuthering Waves experience.
Hi all!
Today I decided to release a video on Wuthering Waves. I played it a little and I can immediately say: the game is really good.
It's similar to Genshin Impact, but the combat system is more hardcore. There are dodges, parries and combos. It adds some challenge to the game, which is really cool.
Btw, this is CBT2 and fingers crossed, they will release the game soon. Can't wait to play it live!

I know the Genshin comparisons will be inevitable, but just like how Genshin was called a Botw clone on release, I can't wait for WuWa to find an identity of it's own after a few patches.
I would say it already has it, its just not showing when you looking at the game on a video. I had little thoughts of it as a "genshin clone" (mostly because I know devs and their previous game, so know what they are capable of, they will never just "copy"), but the more I play, the less genshin like it feels. It's got to the point that I would say, that the only similarity there is, is an anime style of open world (even characters' "anime" look slightly different in style, the hair is the biggest giveaway, they are much more detailed than genshin hair in terms of separate strands) like environment rextures of trees, stone, grass, things like that, the sprinting animation of a small char (helicopter style) maybe some more little things but I cant name them right now. But in the end the game feels completely different from genshin.

@@YiorKha that makes sense, because technically most things in WuWa is different from Genshin.
Combat different.
Art theme, Color Palette, Body Proportion different.
Traversal different.
Element mechanic and system are different.
World puzzles are mostly different.
Anything else that is very similar or even an actual copy paste is only because there's no reason to pay for an effort changing them, or they are already proven to be working very well.
You know, I'm really glad I came across your comment. It's nice to actually see a Genshin player themselves say that it's different. I mean it is, you just need to put everything side by side and compare without any bias to know the answer. But it's different when there's an actual case for it. Refreshing to see.

It does. Sometimes high ping doesn't allow me to change character.

It does maybe 100-300 seems small but the game renders from the servers shitty internet is bad and that person said starrail not its not the same when already in a turn based fight 😅

@Kira-hr5iu Nah I actually agree, some games will use a fuckton of references just to try and keep people actually interested. Cause in the context of the world, a reference doesn't really make sense since it only exists to refer to something from another world.
@@Kira-hr5iu Genshin makes its share of references, majority of its Achievements are references as well as some dialogue choices, but it doesn't go over the top like some games. WuWa seems about the same as Genshin in terms of references to other media.

Actually it won’t be 6 months reason because that when there license expires which allows them to release the game and it takes years to get a license renewal in cn and most say release in 2-3 months since this the final test with payment enabled and we are 0.9.0 with cbt 2 and 1.0 is launch

Also considering it's made by kuro games, this is def gonna be fun as hell. They know how to make a game difficult yet fun, best example being pgr. And if they are able to bring a character similar to crimson weave or hyperreal in this game. It's just perfection.

@@orianalandy3999For me i played a lot of game and Mihoyo’s Genshin and HSR have a very big storage one need to go and i choose Genshin over HSR, bc for me HSR’s Dev care player than Genshin’s Dev.
If your wondering why combats solid this is the same company that made punishing gray raven which is basically honkai impact, but the combat is leagues better and free to play friendly
Of course I would love to try it, the fact that it have more features and more interesting details then the old style one sure

As a fellow beta tester I have a lot of things to say about this game (even thinking about making small videos), so much that it can become a huge wall of text, lol. Or, well, much bigger than it already is. But the thing I want to say the most is to not believe only in what you see. A lot of people say, that this game looks like genshin copy. The key word "looks", because, believe me, the more you'll play the game, the farther away it will stray from "genshin like" vibes. The game feels completely different, to the point, that the only similarity that the 2 will have in the end is anime style (which are slightly defferent too, the more you look at the detailes both in environment and character models both NPC and playable) and an open world exploration (which is better in wuwa at least cause you can run over cliffs in mere seconds against minutes of painfull climbing in genshin:P)
But the final decision of play vs not play for a lot of people will be the combat. Kuro Games are masters of designing boss fights, and its showing even in early starter bosses in this game. The bosses we have now is only a warm up and it will 100% become harder to fight new ones on high levels, so for people, who like very casual combat in genshin, this game will be mostly a no, unless they will want to just play the story where bosses will be weaker. If you like an academy for "dark souls preperation" this game is for you lol, cause you'll need the skills later on :D
Or just look up newest boss fights from the game PGR and take a look of what awaits us in distant future of wuwa. And Im sure for almost 100%, devs wont lean more towards casual style, they wont spare their players.

Как бета-тестер мне хочется много что сказать об этой игре (даже подумываю сделать небольшие видео по ней), так много, что это может вылиться в огромную стену текст, лол. Ну, или ещё больше, чем вышло в итоге здесь. Но, самое главное, что я хочу сказать, это не верить только тому, что вы видете на множество видео. Много людей говорит, что игра выглядит как копия Геншина. Ключевое слово "выглядит", потому что, поверьте мне, чем больше вы будете играть в эту игру, тем дальше она будет отдаляться от геншиновских вайбов. Игра чувствуется совершенно по-другому, до такой степени, что единственные сходства, что останутся между двумя будут аниме стиль (которые тоже немного различаются, ибо, чем больше рассматриваешь окружение и персонажей, как нпс так и игровых, тем больше видишь различий) и возможность исследования открытого мира (которая лучше в вуве хотя бы потому, что ты можешь засчитанные секунды взбежат на скалу, на которую в генш бы ушло несколько болезненный минут карабканья :Р).
Но итоговым решением для многих людей "играть или не играть" станет боевка. Куро геймс мастера создания боев с боссами и это уже проявляется даже в стартовых боссах беты. Боссы, которые сейчас есть игре это всего лишь разминка и 100% в будущем на высоких уровнях новые боссы будут становиться только сложнее, поэтому для людей, которым нравится очень казуальная боевка Геншина, эта игра скорее всего не зайдёт, если только они не захотят поиграть ради истории, где боссы будут ослаблены специально. Если же вам нравится аля Академия подготовки к игре в дарк соулс, эта игра для вас потому что в ней нужны скиллы, лол
Ну, или просто найдите последние босс батлы из игры PGR и посмотрите, что нас будет ждать в будущем вувы. Я почти на 100% уверена, что разработчики не станут склоняться в более казуальное направление, они не щадят своих игроков

İ tried out pgr a little bit for the past few days, gameplay is super fun but the design of levels is just not my thing, im an open world gamer.
And this being pgr gameplay merged with a beautiful, and hopefully a fun to explore open world make me get excited for the game. İm already playing genshin everday since launch, and seems like this is gonna be an addition to my daily gacha chore
Every gamw that allows our player character be viable is a 10 in my book
