I prefer the sprite art as opposed to the lifeless and dated models of the PS2 version, but I still love the Orchestral score of this one... wish there was a best of both worlds version of DQ5 for me...

I love how it elevates a visually sparse turn based fight into a matter of extreme urgency and intensity. A simple fight with a slime felt extreme. The FFIX battle theme, while nice, nevwr went there.
