@@Jesseliadventures yes, tb2 (tension board 2) and kilter are climbing boards from different companies. out of the few main climbing boards, I think tb2 is the best. it's definitely not as beginner friendly as a kilter board (the other one the gym has), but as you become more skilled you will probably learn to love it :)
Honestly that's a reasonable price. I see most gyms are charging between 80-110 a month in my area (Dallas TX) I wish I had this gym open when I lived in manhattan it looks so nice inside
The price is very reasonable compared to the $270 a month i was paying at chelsea piers fitness. There's really no other gym that can compare in the LES.
Checked it out last week. Pretty decent route setting, I just wish they had lead and top rope like Movement does but I guess their main focus is luxury amenities catered toward tech and finance, not climbing amenities
You’re in luck buddy! I will document my progress as a complete beginner. #roadtov8 I’m relativity strong, but will probably struggle since the tendons in my fingertips have no real training.
well, unlike norml gyms, rock climbing gyms' first priority should be good setting, not amenities. honestly, there's so many new fancy climbing gyms popping up, but their settings are all so bad, you might get RSI from climbing there....
Vital has the highest-quality route setting in NYC out of all the other gyms I've been to. This gym may start a tad soft like all commercial gyms, but I can assure you they have some quality route setting.
Wow, that gym is sick. Multi level with TB2, Kilter, co-working space, cafe etc.
Oh! is that what the equipment is called? 😅

Id say this is more geared towards bouldering, TB2 and kilter would make this gym worth it to me.
Great video! If you make climbing videos of your progression I'd be stoked to watch 👍

Looks sick! When is this slated to open?
The staff told me November, but everyday I walk by and see the amount of work they still needs to be get done, and I’m calling 🧢
lmao here I am in New Zealand thinking my 100 NZD (60 USD) per month is expensive. But your gyms are just so much bigger and better
My origin story starts at planet fitness, to me anything over $10/month is expensive lmao
Looked at the title and I was like damn that’s high. Completely forgot I pay 135/mo for my climbing gym 😂
Health is wealth! If you’re getting stronger I’d say it worth every dollar
i see you in that google puff so enjoy yourself and keep it lol.
yes! i'm secretly a tech bro! Thank you for noticing lol

I had it backwards, I’m all about amenities! Followed by community, since I plan on spending a lot of time in the gym
Vital has some of the best setting in the nation imo

Can confirm as a member of this gym and having climbed at every gym in NYC that the setting here is bar none
