Go visit an orthodox church. This is not quite a "rip-off", but very close in style to Tchaikovsky's cherubic hymn th-cam.com/video/OPlK5HwFxcw/w-d-xo.html

Catholic and Orthodox churches usually play fantastic music that rivals this.

I once sat in my car at Wallasea in Essex, watching the lonely creeks in snow, listening to this. It was almost a spiritual experience. Just so lovely. Jeremy Soule is such a wonderful composer.

Akatosh was always the best in the nightly snowfall woods around Bruma. 😊

Note from Soule's bio: A change in musical style may be felt by listeners of his compositions past 2005. As Soule had a near-death experience in a car crash about which he reportedly stated in an interview for FiringSquad: "I ended up rolling in my car several times on an interstate while flying headlong into oncoming traffic … I felt no fear … I simply just acknowledged to myself that I've had a good life and I would soon have to say goodbye to all of it in a matter of seconds".

It makes me think of all the people who died because of religious views. It makes me think of the suffering and the pain inflicted on those who are deemed unworthy of life and humanity by their fellow Christians.
I'm not saying religion is a bad thing and I encourage people to be religious. But us humans can take a good idea and turn it into a tool for brutality and pain. Like this beautiful piece of music, religion can be both sad and beautiful

Geez. Much religious people here. Epic religious music resembling a completely different god drawing in Christians. Its as if the christian god is complimenting akatosh on its holy music 🤣. I just came here bc i liked the music. Its just the right tones and rythme to sound epic.

@@timesupea not really.. they are different Gods. The Christian god does not exist in the elder Scrolls. Though the idea that god in Christian religion is a giant golden dragon is a epic thought.
