You, like other Canadians will realistically have to leave Canada. As many are trying to do. Because those problem isn't going to get better anytime soon, they're simply not incentivized to fix it. They'd need to REALLY drop immigration and let housing supply increase. But that would mean housing values for their voters to plummet, and our aggregate GDP to plummet as well (our GDP per capita has stagnated the past 12 years)

As an American, I have watched Canada spiral for a while now... which is sad because when I was a kid Canada was just our overly friendly frozen neighbors to the north. But ever since Covid, I have payed a bit more attention after those Truckers had their bank accounts frozen for protesting. As a gamer that has a lot of Canadian friends over discord, I don't know a single one of them that liked Trudeau and in fact most of them outright hated him.

Canadian women are the reason why Trudeau kept winning. Honestly the gender gap in voting is ridiculous. Canadian women are dumb asf. They're only now changing their minds because none of them can find dates anymore because they're all raging feminazis.

    • @DHBucsFan
      @DHBucsFan ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

It wasn't the truckers who had their bank accounts frozen. The RCMP literally hired a criminal hacker to hack into GoFundMe and present them with a list of names of Canadians who had donated funds to support the protest, then the RCMP told the government that they had this list and asked what they should do about it? Then the liberal government pressured Cdn banks to freeze individuals personal bank accounts. The banks were complacent in this, and it was completely insidious, people who had donated as little as $25 dollars suddenly couldn't access their bank accounts, credit destroyed, all because Trudeau's ego got bruised! The guy is an absolute insecure narcissist. His approval rating is less than 20% and was that low or lower for basically all of 2024. His government is the most corrupt in Cdn history, and there is zero accountability. Hundreds of millions of dollars have gone to liberal insiders, a company that our current "Minister of Climate Hysteria" a former Greenpeace "activist" with a criminal record (who is from Quebec of course) sits on the board of a company that has been "awarded" over $240million in sole source government contracts since 2017! At the start of the pandemic here a sole-source contract for over $200million dollars was paid to a company that was founded by a former Liberal MP, the company had been founded 11 days before being awarded the contract. The contract was to build 10,000 ventilators. The company had no medical or technical staff, no warehouse or manufacturing facility. Yet the former MP turned CEO quoted $20,000 for each ventilator. Four years later the company no longer exists. Nobody can find out how many ventilators were ever built, but some ventilators that did end up in government possession were recently auctioned off as scrap metal for $8/ea. That is the kind of country we have been living in for the last 9 years!

To us, Canada was always the beacon of freedom (which we seem to have lost some years ago) but now Pierre "Pol pot" Trudeau is going, perhaps Canada will get back to shining that beacon of light. We wish you well, our dear cousins. We have been watching for some years what Mr T. had been doing to your great country. The trouble is, when it happens gradually, in his case over 9 years, one does not immediately notice. As outsiders, we were watching in horror. May your future be bright (and pray for us with our current shower!).

Or support fan film creators and other small online creators financially, especially If you're like Theory, and you have so much money. He could stop speaking about Disney Star Wars completely, and only focus on fan films and projects, and Disney Star Wars would've been dead long ago, cause for them, bad attention is much better than good or no attention, again, so simple, and what I would do were I Star Wars Theory.

I am also British and for foreigners I would just like to offer some clarifications on this guy’s comment:
      1) The widespread use of the word “huzzah” in the U.K. is vastly overstated.
      2) I have never, nor have I ever known anyone, to say Canada is a “beacon of freedom” (I mean, plenty of people say it’s a pretty nice place to live - my parents nearly emigrated as my dad is of Canadian descent - but it doesn’t have a political image like the U.S. does).

Ironically, UKs longest serving PM Margaret Thatcher served nearly 12 years and was one of their very best both objective performance wise and public opinion wise. People have been chasing that prestige ever since but none of them have the same class. You shouldn't be too surprised, here in the U.S. we have states with governors that don't have hard term limits and have always had legislative branches from local to federal without term limits. Something to keep in mind, it's not advisable to just believe one person on a given situation no matter what political ideology they belong to or even if they live in the country they are criticizing. There are too many people who think they know a good amount about a given topic, but they actually don't.
You will never get the full story that way and will always end up getting a biased version of the actual truth. If you want the actual truth, do your own research and always be aware of any biases you may have when doing that said research. That is how you end up at the truth.
Theory's viewpoint on Canada is a good starting point, but by no means should it be the end of you looking into the matter if you actually want the full truth. And, if you don't care to do the research, then respectfully, you should not have an opinion on it.
All the best to you and anyone else who sees this:)

I pray you all get those sycophantic cultists out of office and actually start using common sense again. Happy here too and I was one that was rooting for him on day one but by the end of that first year he seemed so off and fake. Then I got forced to pay $3000 to put my family in something called a "COVID HOTEL" after they got vaccinated and one had to travel for an emergency surgery because the hospitals paused surgeries. They were forced to stay in a Chinese owned hotel in Canada with ARMED private surgery guards. They were forced to eat a few sandwiches a day and were barely given any water to sustain the 1 weeks in the hospital. It was entirely against the Charter of Rights and should have been considered illegal. I have profound hate for Trudeau. My family was vaccinated but forced to stay in a hotel for what? and why that long? And why force ME to pay 3 grand for them to be there and not only that but forced me to stay on the phone for 11 hours to make that transaction. I hate him beyond words. This took place in Toronto. I was told that similar happened in Alberta where women were sexually harassed by those private security guards and Trudeau's funded CBC network refused to even shed any light on this and the RCMP tried to keep everything under wraps. Down here in the US our whole country’s independence was started over this concept. The colonies were being censored and silenced. They had double (compounding) taxation without representation (just as you’re describing) and they got fed up with it. The only reason they fought was because the overt disregard for their freedoms became so obviously arrogant and the only reason they succeeded is because they never let the government limit their ability to make, keep, and bear arms. Then, when they established our government they knew from experience that this condition they dealt with in British government was not unique to that one individual (King George) or one ideology (monarchy), but that it was human nature and the very nature of governance itself that corrupts and exists to perpetuate its power over its people (either through expansion, or oppression, or both, or any number of other means). It is because of that realization that our government was founded under a Constitution that would/should ALWAYS be the contract LIMITING the power of the government to what is described and then before it was ratified the states made sure it was amended to include specific statements of things that the government SHALL NEVER have the power to do. The more we in the US keep ourselves ignorant of this, the more our government takes advantage and the more the rest of the world follows suit.
P.S.- Thanks for being brave enough to speak your true beliefs with a unifying message, Theory!!

What it does for the US is give them by far the highest murder by shooting rate in the western world, and the highest rate of killing of civilians by the police of any country in the western world. It's such a stupid argument to say that any government that spends a trillion dollars on the most highly trained and armed military in the world has any fear of a bunch of yokels with rifles, and would take that into consideration at all if they decided to end US democracy. As a fellow Vancouverite, I'm with you - albeit should have happened far earlier, and not after Prorogue announcement, but immediate vote for Non-Confidence (which we all know why both Liberals and NDP MPs aren't supporting before Jan 20th, all about pension earning). See below:
The Liberals under JT & this cabinet (most of which are providing the replacement options, so same group) have given us (per stats Canada):
    - A record 62b deficit last year alone (2.53x higher than ANY prior government - not counting covid years which was more than 4x that due to covid payments and limited tax collected at the time)
    - Avg. CAD value from 2005-2010 was $0.97USD, under the Liberals has dropped to an average of $0.74USD from 2017-2024 (and an all-time low outside of 1862 at $0.69 last month)
    - They have more than doubled our total national debt in just the past 7 years ($720m total accrued from 1867 to 2017, to $1.52B in 2024, adding an additional $800b in that time)
    - Our highest inflation rate in 40 years
    - 6 consecutive quarters of shrinking per/capita GDP
    - Now we have the most indebted households in the G7
Anyone still even thinking of voting for anyone in the Liberal or NDP party that were accomplices to this situation as it stands now is beyond logical and frankly insane (as the other members supported JT for over 8yrs so all the potential candidates are just as culpable) . Not even mentioning the social politics, or legitimate scandals (Google, Wikipedia references: Cash for Access Scandal (2016), SNC-Lavalin affair (2019), WE Charity (2020), China Federal Elections Interference (2021), ArriveCAN app (2022), Employment Minister 400m Conflict of Interest probe (2024)) our government has been linked to the past two terms (thanks to your noted Bill C-10, many Canadians have no idea of the scandals either), the economic irresponsibility of the party as a whole alone is enough. Yet sadly, there are still almost 21% of the public blind enough to still follow them, and NDP that supported them, it is truly insane really. There are millions waiting months, if not years, for operations, it can take ages to get a doctor's appointment, sometimes a year or two for dentist's appointment. Saying what you think can land you in hot water. The new Labour (socialist) government blames the previous Conservative government for what they inherited, but they did nothing to try and improve the situation in the last six months; they have made things worse. The economy has flatlined. The cost of living has gone up (again).

Maturity, understanding, patience, discipline. People used to have these qualities. If someone of a different political belief than yours states their opinions openly in a measured, disciplined, mature and thoughtful way, your first reaction should not be to get mad, judgmental, radical, start an argument on twitter and so forth. This is the behavior of a child. There was a time where people of vastly different beliefs, perspectives and approaches to life could have mutual respect for one another and be friends, working together to find a middle ground everyone can live with. It takes adults with self control to have this level of maturity and wisdom. We no longer live in that time or build this kind of person.
You can't expect kids raised by phones and ipads and not by a healthy dual-parent household and community to have this mindset. Kids who've lived relatively easy lives with no threat of true hardship or pressure to develop themselves, think deeply and improve upon themselves day after day. You can't expect people to grow into mature, well-adjusted adults with experiences and wisdom to draw from if they've lived a life of ignoring the building blocks needed to grow or if they've been deprived of those building blocks and don't even understand what they're lacking as people that never grew up and achieved higher consciousness and introspection as pervious generations have. The generations that built and kept society (*mostly) healthy.

There's merit and worth to be found on both sides. The problem with the left and right is that both sides have gone to far to the extreme. There's a lot of things I don't like about conservatism, but it also bothers me when we give 8 billion away in foreign aid when more and more people are living in tents in Canada because they can't afford rent and because Trudeau, in his own words, "didn't get the balance right" when it came to immigration. We need immigration, but when you let in more people then there are places to house them than rent is going to go sky high. Simple supply and demand. We need to cut back on immigration for a while to give us time to build, and stop giving billions away when Canadians are suffering.

You think its an accident that home prices are high? Like Trudeau doesn't understand basic economics? The government wants high home prices.
Current home owners WANT the value of their properties to be high. You can't decrease the price of homes for new homeowners, while maintaining the value for the current home owners. In this competition, current homeowners are winning. The value of their homes will continue to rise, while everyone else will suffer. If you manage you buy a home, you will want it to increase in value over time, so the government will keep prices high to make sure that happens.
The only think that will bring down home price is a market crash and that's bad for everyone.

This is a significant triumph for Canada. As a US resident, I’m delighted to see this authoritarian figure leave Canadian politics. His leadership was like Palpatine’s-absolute control and fear-mongering. Dissenters faced severe consequences, like account suspension or arrest. The Canadian people have long yearned for freedom, and this victory is a testament to their aspirations. Now, they must elect a leader who will safeguard their freedoms and ensure a life free from fear.

Star wars theory, you used to be a genuine source of entertainment, knowledge and expertise but now you sound like nothing more than a teenager trying to be edgy. "Only a video I can make" and "disney will hate me now - canada and my political stance" grow up dude, you're not impressing anyone of note.

I’m sick of being in world where we destroy others for their ideas rather than try to see each other out, we constantly bash and convict even when the person truly means well, just has a different opinion. We shouldn’t target people for their ideas, respect them as humans that make mistakes and there have been a lot of mistakes in politics recently that have driven the world apart.

You don’t need click bait as you got a big enough following. Talk politics, but just don’t play to the hot new trend of sensationalism nowadays.

Another Canadian here! I can't lie, I have been quite disappointed with Justin's Trudeau reign. I do have faith in Pierre as he served as the housing minister during the Harper era and I hope he can undo what Trudeau and his cabinet has done.
However, I'm not sure if he is gutsy enough to fix the housing crisis but I do hope he can fix the other affordability crisis we're experiencing. I'm not even sure if there's a leader within any of the existing parties that is willing to make the hard decisions that will make life easier for all the other generations other than the Gen X'ers and Boomers.
I just hope we can have an early election.

Soon as I was able to do content full time I was mass reported on TikTok for not liking the acolyte and they took $10,000 from me. Had to take out a loan to pay the rent cause my wife had lost her job as a teacher at the same time. Luckily I work hard and have been able to make money from 3D printing or Disney and the influencers they had to report me almost cost me and my family everything. I’ve been a libertarian that has works in the gaming industry professionally and does Star Wars videos for fun and watched what I said for the last for years and just calling out viewership numbers made me a target, now the same people who attacked me ask why I haven’t been making Star Ware videos 😂
The fact that I know you have it so much worse is the only thing that even keeps me going to be honest. Thanks for doing what you do.

Hey man - I have been a fan for a while and I appreciate you sharing your views like this. I am also happy that Trudeau stepped down, though very unhappy that he shamefully got parliament prorogued. I disagree with your view that we are in a dictatorship and at risk of being jailed for having or expressing the wrong political views - we live in a vibrant democracy and people express themselves every day and they don’t shy away from being harsh. I think that many of your apprehensions about Bill C-11 are based on some level of wrong information, possibly exaggerated takes by right-leaning political commentators or analyses and comments made by watchdog/advocacy groups that envision unlikely/worst case scenarios to put pressure on law makers and the government to obtain amendments of legislation or secure some interpretations of certain provisions (which is a fair thing for them to do, just that we need to remember that their catastrophic scenarios are unlikely). There are many things that need to be fixed in Canada right now, many of them at least in part because of Trudeau’s policies or inaction, but it is not that bad and many of those issues plague other countries (including the U.S.) and are part of the current socio-economical and political paradigm that western countries are going through. Anyway, my firmest opinion is that the silent killer in Canada is complacency, a culture of “good enough” and being nice about things, and the fact that people will often leave rather than act. It feels anxiety-inducing to talk publicly less because of “oppressive laws” (there are none on that front) but maybe more because it is so deeply ingrained in us not to criticize publicly, not to make a scene, not to voice our thoughts loudly. People around me think I’m weird for writing to Miller and Trudeau’s offices on a variety of topics whereas Americans see calling their congresspeople as a casual first step to any political activism, even on a personal level. We need more people to talk and discuss ideas, and work so those ideas percolate up to our government and law makers. I hope you keep on engaging on political topics that matter to you instead of moving south of the border, and I will be happy to chat if you ever want to talk politics or big picture ideas about this country.

Totally agree, not a JT fan but making claims that we live in some type of authoritarian dictatorship is just spreading false info. The cost of living is getting crazy and he should step down, buy he's not the cause of everything wrong in the world.
