That is - the Dutchman’s Pipe Cactus, interesting different names, lovely plant.A piece was given to me about 8 years ago and it is a survivor. I experimented with a jagged ,ugly piece that was broken off at the top and bottom, rooted it and planted it. It’s maybe two years old know and I’ve fed and watered it generously wanting it to flower (not yet). It’s in a terra cotta pot and is about 4to5 feet wide and maybe 4 feet tall at the top of those thin stems that grow straight up.My Dutchman’s Pipes flower outside but I’m trying to get this one to inside. One more thing,I had it in a big window, plenty of light and had to move it to it’s own spot and some of the leaves grew bent up and the plant is soo big and flowing it looks like mermaid’s hair under water🧜🏾‍♀️LOL😊

Great video showing actual results. Also appreciate theexperimental stuff, saves us from trying to loop a leaf into the soil thinking both sides will root lol

I cut large Woody material off and threw it in my worm factory. Almost a year later I pulled them out and they have huge root looking nodules but exposed to air again, leaves are growing from them.

I have started some new Epiphyllum cuttings. They first appear in my Oct-Dec 2021 updates. They are very small at the moment but I will update on their progress as time goes on.

What's the brown dried spots on your epi? I recently rescued an E. Oxypetalum. and it got damaged pretty badly and has several spots similar to this. I'm hoping to save it.

From going to low light conditions to a place where it got direct sunlight for a few hours. It adapted but grew smaller leaves and lighter green in color. Some parts that got more sun where to far. Gone. I found this plant is very hardy though. Not meaning cold conditions though

Hi, it’s been 10 month since this video and the plant looks so healthy, would you consider selling a leaf 🍃 to me? I’d like to try growing a tree. Thank you 😊

I sell them locally for now. Last time I checked, eBay had people selling leaves. That's probably your best bet since they are ready and waiting for a sale. I'm stuck working 6 days a work and from the time I wake until bedtime these days!
