My #1 favorite from last year was Amari and the Night Brothers! The Witch Haven and Keeper of the Lost Cities are on my TBR for this year. I can't wait to read them!
I'm so glad to see you back! I just saw this video today because I've been away until about an hour or so ago (and you didn't pop up on my feed on my cell for some reason), but I loved it. The only book on this list that I've read is KotLC, and I kind of liked it. Gave it 3 stars. Some of the other books on this list are ones I wanna read, but since I'm trying to save for a while, I won't be able to get them anytime soon. Maybe I'll make an exception, but we shall see...
THE QUEEN HAS RETURNED!! Missed your videos so much. Hmm let’s see, I hate picking my faves but if I had to pick out one I’d say Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. I picked it up on a whim and oh my gosh it blew me away. Never knew I needed it in my life until I read it.

I’m new to your channel, and I love your energy and personality! It’s so fun how your list includes both some popular books I’ve heard of and some unique ones I haven’t.
Will you be doing a book haul where you also open the books we sent you? You mentioned you would be in a community tab post a month or so ago and it never happened. Missed you!
Yaaay you're back!!! We missed you 😃 and what awesome timing with this video, I'm about to go bookshoping 😋 (also, my favourite book of the year was The House in the Cerulean Sea, thanks for the recommendation!)
Nice recommendations! My faves from last year where The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Anxious people. Oh and Eleanor Oliphany is completely fine and One day. So hard to chose hahaha.
I read Keeper of Lost Cities at your recommendation and I thought it was so fun!!! I’m so glad you’re back by the way. Yes, I get my coffee and Ty to read what you’re reading. You’ve had some wonderful recommendations.
I can't wait to read Emma, it's gonna be my first spring read 🌷(I blame you for my season-reading obsession, my shelves are now organized according to seasonal vibes 😂)
Hi Lexi, missed you 😭 you are such sweet person to be with . The One and The Midnight library has been my best pick for the year. They were both heart warming * chef kiss *.
The Midnight Library was one of my faves also. I’m not sure if you know are not by the way you said it, but Clueless IS a modern version of Emma ( on purpose).

So glad you liked Emma! There’s a TH-cam adaptation of the story, called Emma Approved, where Emma is a life coach of sorts and has made a business out of it. It’s portrayed in vlog format, too!
I haven't read anything published in 2021, but my best read last year was CERTAIN PREY by John Sandford. Both the novel and the movie rock!!! Thanks for sharing, Ms. Lexie!!!!
My favorite of 2021 is without a doubt The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern. Loved it so much! It became my favorite book of all time... The One has been on my TBR for a while! I need to dive in!
Hi Lexi! I'm happy to see you back! I missed you and your sweet funny personality! Everytime I see you,I always think I wish I could be her roommate or something. From the glimpses you've shown of your house,it looks beautiful (I'm also jealous of your library!) and you always seem so happy, positive and sweet that you seem like you would be a joy to live with! LOL! I know that people's lives aren't always as wonderful as they seem all the time, but you seem like you would be fun to live with and a fun friend to have! :-) I also like that you don't care about genres or age groups and you read all kinds of books. I do too and I think a good story is a good story no matter if it is kids,YA or adult. Been watching a lot of Booktubers do the solving the Agatha Christie mystery thing and I was hoping that maybe that would be something you might be interested in doing since I think with your personality and the hard awesome work you put into your videos that it would be fun to watch!

Ok so this is going to be quite a long comment but I've been desperate for books like this/have this trope and I have no clue where to find them! Basically, I'm looking for YA books where the protagonist is a warrior/fighter in some way and they have a combat partner who is also their best friend. However, throughout the book, they fall for each other. The romance is more of a subplot but still a pretty prominent part of the book. Think Percy Jackson but YA. I'm open to pretty much anything, just keep it YA.
I'm glad to see you're back! As an older adult I would like to branch out to Fantasy. Would Keeper of the Lost Cities be a good place to start? Another BookTuber loves that series.

Sooooo many people put The Midnight Library on their ‘worst book of 2021’ list and I just don’t understand why…I mean I do, but I don’t (not confusing at all, right?). I really liked it and it’s a keeper got me. You’re the first booktuber that I’ve seen that has it on their ‘best book’ let alone #1. Yay!!
