  • The 7.3 mmm Cannulated Screw is mainly indicated to stabilize femoral neck fractures, but may also be used in pelvic ring and tibia plateau fractures. The tip of the screw is designed with a self-drilling and self-tapping flute, which allows introduction of this screw in a not to hard bone without any pre-drilling

    My grandfather had this surgery 2 days ago.
    (On 6 March, 2021)
    The surgeon is - Dr Ramesh Jain, Jain Orthopedic Hospital, Barwala Road, Hisar (Haryana). India.

      It's permanent unless it's hurting patient.

    I had this surgery same 20 days ago now i on bed rest please give me suggestion & tips
    Dr tell can seat on bed ? Other activites on bed ? Sleep on me right side ?

      u can seat and walk with help of walker , I had same week ago but I am walking and seating on couch from next day,more u walk and seat more ur muscles will grow strong ,but be cearfull for 1st 6 week

      3-4 months. If you have diabetes then it might take a bit longer

    I had three cannulated screw inserted in my left neck of femur yesterday. Do I need the screw to be removed later or is it safe to just let it be there? I’m 28 y.o

      Hi there! I had the same surgery, and I kinda da need some support. I would like to know, will I be able to do sport after my fracture recovered? It’s been almost 3 month after surgery.

      @@bauyrzhanesov8419 well if you don't have pain and are able to walk normally you can start to train little by little . But surely you should check with your doctor on the current fracture status. And then take a decision

    Because the surgeon needs to see, they use "live xray" called fluoroscopy for several minutes. It's quite a dose of radiation. Be it noted.
