Aun tengo mi ION pero mi pantalla quedo apagada ya no brilla aunque se ven los textos aun no consigo repuestos acá en Argentina.. Lo que me sorprende es que no trae rever ó delay es muy buen Sinthe.. Lo eh usado bastante no quiero venderlo... ❤Saludos
I own one; I use it occasionally as I find the character to be a bit glassy, espacially on basses; however some sounds are very closely emulating the classic analog polysynths such as Prophets, Oberheims and Jupiters. Furthermore if one takes the time to program it, it can deliver some particularly good sounds, e.g. you can get beefy analog stlye basses using the unison feature.
I still got this setting around I need to update it.. I learn to program it in about a day.. it's still as bad ass I remember.. hopefully after the update I can create sound new music
That's a synth I really wanted! It's aesthetics are suberb as is its sound. Could only get a Micron, which is not good for patch design and hd only three octaves. It was built like a tank and has nice presets and better effects.
Ion is the only VA-synth in history that has a separate chip for each voice and FX-processor, which brings it closer to classic analog polyphonics. That's why it only has eight voices and why it sounds amazing.
