Oh no… this game is a big stinker unfortunately in every possible way. Bad story (by AI?), asset flip, barely any gameplay, cringey and hilarious jumpscares and its dev did a controversial thing in one of his previous games. Not blaming Teo though for playing since this game got some traction from what I've seen. 😮💨😞

seemed interesting at the start, and by the end, phew. thought maybe the main menu was artful and intentional, but maybe it was just lazy lmao.
if you're (as in generally anyone) unaware of the soul stray controversy, you should look into it. by the same guy. the main point of controversy is the developer using a real life 911 call of a SA victim in their game. pretty crappy.

Why is the ghost like 80 if she died 40 years ago when she was pregnant?
What did the couple even have to do with the rest of the story and the ghost?
How did the sherif “fake her suicide” AND pretend to save her from a fire?

So the fire was supposed to have killed Susan was 40 years ago, but Susan went missing 3 years ago? How does that make sense? Was this just the mistake of using Google translate by the developer? I'm also with Teo, how could the officer get away with 40 (3?) years of saying that he saved a family despite the family never being seen since?

The game would have probably been better if you had used the voice functionality correctly and used the lines that were programmed into the game more. Ah well, it was still a fun watch. definitely not a video or vod for this game that I would recommend, but still fun to watch as a fan of yours!
How‘s he supposed to know these are the ONLY lines you can say and literally nothing else?
And it’s not the VOD that’s bad… it’s the game.
@@theswissmiss69 because that how every game with voice recognition works, unless it’s using ai, which would be a completely different game and require much more work and polishing.
For a solo dev who’s only made one other game, this is pretty good. Could have done without the second Easter egg hunt with the fuses, though.
