As a Newcastle fan this was a brilliant amount for a player that signed for 6 mill and hasn’t kicked a ball for Newcastle….. HOWEVER… I really think that Newcastle will come to regret selling this boy
He's going to be dynamite in the PL this season. He's clearly going to be a world star. He's just turned 20 the other day, his skills are sublime. He has electric pace, is really strong, enough to hold off defenders and can shift direction in a heartbeat. So many players shoot when it clearly is going to get blocked. I love How Minteh shifts, adjusts and waits for the right moment to shoot or pass. Very intelligent footballer
Newcastle were in a difficult position and Brighton have benefited clearly. There was a deadline of the end of June to balance the books. They sold two players for big money. It must have been difficult to know who to let go. It was either younger less known players like Minteh or perhaps some first team regulars. But who could they have sold? Maybe Gordon but he's an established player

They are so far behind most of the other teams and they need much better coaches and their academy is way below par. They had Gordon who was on Liverpool’s books as a teenager and was forced to sell him.
You do realise Newcastle haven't won a trophy in over 65 years. Everton have finished in the top 10 in 5 of the last 10 seasons (which is more than Newcastle). They have also made over £70m from selling academy players in the last three years. Basically everything you said is wrong
