    Thank you so much for this. That was wonderfully explained. May i also suggest a crash course on UI xctesing and unit testing in ios ? Not a lot of good materials on those. I''ll definitely check out your course

    This is a critique but it wants to be constructive :-) . In my experience as a Lead iOS developer, iOS developers need to be proficient in User interfaces, architectures, design patterns, and really understand the users and the business. We rarely have to implement algorithms. This is why I think "old school" computer science knowledge doesn't really apply in Mobile

      I hear you Valerio. I felt the same way. It wasn't until I started interviewing at large tech companies that I really even cared about this stuff. But once I got into, and it started giving me insight into how all these things worked, I started to kind of like it. I agree though. All those other things you mention are really important. But knowledge, is good. And understanding a little about how some of these core data structures work I think is a good thing. It's giving me insight that I didn't have before.
