    Hi Faizal, great set of videos, thank you! Can you tell us a bit about your method for applying decals -are you using decal softener? It seems like you had to put in quite a lot of work to get all the decals to conform to the various shapes and curves of the body work. Thanks!

      As I don't own a spray gun what you used in the video spray cans will be just as good ?

    • @FaizalYusof_MFMY
      @FaizalYusof_MFMY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Andrew Hartley you can use spray can directly for large parts, but there is a problem for small parts because thick paint spray can cover the parts details.... Maybe you can control distance between spray can and parts.

      @Andrew Hartley maybe it's time for you to buy an airbrush, find a cheap one first and then upgrade and for your knowledge I still use a cheap airbrush.

    Why isn't the carburator in the middle of the cylinders. Why they are in the Back of the engine?

    • @jimpaine6331
      @jimpaine6331 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I'm guessing this is a crankcase ported engine, with the fuel/air mixture travelling via the crankcase. The timing of the inlet and exhaust phases of the combustion process is determined by the different ports in the walls of the pistons and in the cylinder walls. What is critical to this system are the standing pressure waves created by the expansion chambers (hence the bizarre shape of the exhaust pipes) which alternately draw fuel/air into the cylinder and then sucks exhaust out - a very critical process that results in a narrow but very high power band when running at peak harmonic frequency (invented by Walther Kaaden whilst at MZ in East Germany, later defected to the west and ended up at Suzuki). Crankcase porting does away with the need for a sump full of oil and everything that entails, the main bearing, big end and little end bearings and the bore/cylinder interface all being lubricated by the oil mixed in with the fuel. Very simple, light and extremely powerful (150bhp on these bikes out of just 500cc), but dirty emissions and temperamental. Ear-splittingly loud as well.
