Many many temples in and around Karaikal, Ammyaar temple, Thirukadyavur , and Historical places like Tanqebar Danish Fort ( Tarangambadi) ,Poompuhar beach etc , are worth a visit .
Nice town , Karaikal halwa is famous . Cheap accommodation, reasonable hotels . Karaikal is worth a visit.
