And while i feel like this is the situation with a final boss being incredibly strong but if you unlock him, he is just average lol. Still say he is toned down, but besides Zbra and maybe some other players i basically soloed a Doomfist with Brigitte, him punching me was no brainer, i just tanked the 30 damage and healed right back. Shield is enough to protect vs some hits here and there, etc. If he manage to hit you into a wall with charged punch that's a problem but otherwise, can't really solo any other tank like that. Maybe with a large enough skill difference. And his mobility, ah ye, jump is useless at close range; you basically have punch and your hand cannon [it's ...ok, but come on, Roadhog? Rein - who does more damage with a swing than a fully charged punch basically??]. Well you don't really 1v1 that much in 5v5 but it can happen, and he feels very weak than. I love these videos tho.
I don’t think doomfist sucks, in fact I think he’s extremely powerful. Just like how you wouldn’t use widow in dark and tight spaces, you wouldn’t use any character somewhere there kit doesn’t work well. Doomfist isn’t bad, he just has an extremely high skill ceiling. And with the skill gap in OW…. Yeah.

Well it IS common sense, is it not? You don't focus on saving the guy that's 0 0 5 when the other guy is 24 0 5, it's kind of counter productive to focus on the guy that can't even hit a shot to get an elimination/assist. I mean, yes, you try to keep everyone alive, but if you gotta let someone go, you tend to let the guy, that can't get kills, go first.

If you scrub along 5:04 using the period and comma keys (US keyboard), you will see that ZBRA did in-fact cancel the EMP before the Ana's sleep landed.
Due to the fact that the Doomfists punch connected to the Ulting Sombra and the sleep dart was still active after the fact leads me to believe that the doom did infact cancel the Sombras Ult first before the Ana completely shut down the player🗿
there's a period of time where you can hit a slept target without waking him up so it's not definite proof, but I also think he cancelled ult and the sleep hit slighty later

I feel like arguing who canceled it is pointless. Either way, the Sombra would not have gotten the ult off. In game, you are going to argue that stuff, because why not, it's fun, but in hindsight, it actually doesn't matter in the least. They should add a sound cue to when you cancel an ult, kinda like when you save someone healing. Just a little quick soundbite and maybe text at the bottom, again, just like when you save someone as support. Not because it matters, but because it would just add to the game and be fun.

Going frame by frame with , and . keys at 5:04 you can see doomfist got a hit marker while in the top right there is a blue streak of light. I believe that streak is the sleep dart, and the hit marker doom gets is 3 frames before there is a splash effect from the dart on sombra. To be fair though that is so fast that latency alone could have showed the reverse on the ana's end.
I'm still sad abt the doomfist changes, but seeing you get massive plays with him makes me happy know that someone out there is still putting the doom in doomfist :)
Even if you can't do cracked out combos, Doomfist being able to tank a lot more damage mid-fight as youre knocking the entire team around makes him seem so much more threatening. Like the unstoppable force he was supposed to be. If he ever gets buffed Zbras never going to die

Because punch is a stun, it will always interrupt sleep even in the mercy period. This means that, since the Sombra was still sleeping after the punch knockback wore off, we can deduce that Sombra was slept AFTER the punch landed, thus giving ZBRA the cancel.

ever since OW2 came out i've been going through the vicious cycle of watching two to three ZBRA vids (or spending some time watching his stream), seeing his doomfist play, and convincing myself that i can do the same when i boot up the game myself
honestly, doomfist relies a LOT more on using primary fire to net kills, and it REALLY feels so much more rewarding. nothing feels better then to punch someone into a wall and left click them to die, or failing your ult, but immediately punch shooting to finish them off. i also used to hate when i used block and nobody shot at me, but then i realized block is still a good stalling tool to get punch back so even if you don't get a charged punch, block still gives you enough time to get at LEAST a normal stun, or an escape. really made me appreciate block so much more.

It feels like Doom was always meant to be a tank. As a dps he would go in, distract the enemy team and pull the attention towards him, get a pick or two, and try to escape. Now, he could do that as well. Kinda like Ball.

Dooms honestly not as bad as people say he is but he would be amazing with a minor buff. Powerblock should block 100% of damage from all sides. (Zarya gets this, why not doom?) And seismic slam should go from 7 to 6 second CD. Those two alone would make him an incredible pick.

if you freeze at the right frame you can see Sombra being pushed backwards as the dart hits her.
The most important thing to note is that a sombra somehow managed to get double stunned out of ult in ow2

It feels like Doom was always meant to be a tank. As a dps he would go in, distract the enemy team and pull the attention towards him, get a pick or two, and try to escape. Now, he could do that as well.

They aren’t ignoring you, it’s just that it is almost impossible for them to keep up with you and heal you. Be a bit more aware of your supports
@@RandomPerson-gf6gd no brother they're ignoring me. I main Winston so i know how to dive in and get out when I'm low. My supports will literally ignore me as I am standing right next to them and asking them for healing both with the button and in voice chat

Dooms honestly not as bad as people say he is but he would be amazing with a minor buff.
Powerblock should block 100% of damage from all sides. (Zarya gets this, why not doom?) And seismic slam should go from 7 to 6 second CD. Those two alone would make him an incredible pick.
