We are a family of 5 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I just wanted to say thanks for being a light over the last few years, things are far better this year than they had been in a while. kindness and care have started to return in the lower 48 replacing the fear and hate we knew far too frequently. i hope you all have an amazing christmas.
Today I was able to share the Random Acts of Kindness with my teammates at work. I was so excited they wanted a copy of it. Watching Evelyn on the bar and started wondering what is her favorite to learn. I always love watching the floor routines.
I recently found your channel. You filled my heart with joy. To see a positive attitude that oozes love, joy and peace; in today's negativity, increases my love for humanity. Peace...
We do have foodbanks in the Netherlands. Also clothing banks and other local projects like a free secondhand store and even foodbanks for animals. A project I like very much are the little library's some people have on their driveway or front garden. In a little cupcoard there are several books and magazines that people can swap. You have to leave something behind if you want to take something. 🥰 I love this idea..

Bert, I feel ya when it comes to the news. Too much negativity. I noticed it years and years ago when I watched the news regularly as a kid/teen. Right now is my favorite time of the year to watch the news though because of all the heartwarming stories of those helping others by donating, paying off layaways etc...I'm in Oregon but I watch these Secret Santa TH-cam video's from East Idaho News where they have a multimillionaire in the community that donates a million dollars to deserving people in need that are nominated every year.
You guys are amazing. Thank you for everything you do for not just your local community but for all of us Happy Peoples as well. You have no idea how much of a positive impact you've made in people's lives around the World. Kindness is contagious and you guys are spreading kindness like wildfire through your videos. Thank you also for always having such positive words of encouragement. When I'm having a bad day which is quite often due to health and family issues I make it a point to watch one of your videos and can usually count on Bert to remind me I am loved, not to give up, and that things will get better.
Anyways, I'm rambling but thank you for sharing a part of your lives with us and being so charitable and inspirational. Merry Christmas Somers Family!

That’s the way to clear a driveway. I was shocked seeing Burt put on snow clothes because he’s always outside in a t-shirt. I was thinking it was maybe 60 below or something!!!!!! Nope it was just to have a bit of fun on the buggy!! :)

Bert, you have a pickup, why not get s plow blade? You could use it for years new shop and your office/home. Or you could get one for one of your local employees to run for you.
a plow blade reduces the life of the pickup truck :-(
@@emmib1388 it would shorten the life of the pickup less than that side by side. Blade comes off the pickup in spring, and attachments could also be removed. In high school guys who owned pick up with plows made good money (100 per hr) cleaning suburban drives and small business parking lots. Plow could be claimed as a business expense. Pickup truck plow would also clean alot better than side by side. Pickup plow wider and can handle deeper snow, and blade adjustable from inside a warm cab. I've used tractor, lawn tractor, jeep, and pickup plows and I prefer the pickup.
You might have to upgrade to a Kubota with a snowblower.

You should also ask about whether they need gluten free items. I know there's a big demand for them in my area...gluten free mixes, flours, cereals etc. Gluten intolerance is becoming more common and the foods can be pricey.
