The reason why Siegwurm Nova (the red dragon) lost to Queen Merduk (the snake lady), even though Nova is stronger in terms of BP here, because Queen Merduk has an effect called Destructive Curse. It basically make her invincible to any destruction based effect. Not only that, the opponent also loses one life each time they attempt to destroy her with destruction effects. Siegwurm Nova is a red spirit, red is a color of destruction effects, so it loses by very bad matchup.

I honestly can't stop watching this trailer!^^ it's honestly that good and draws me in. The game is also everything the trailer promises very fun to play, very addicting!^^; 😅😅 I am probably going to make decks for each color then explore crossing colors once I have a better grasp of the gameplay.
As my local friends are being hyped over the once piece card game. I got no interest in it since I've never been hyped on the show much. But this Battle Spirit Game has way more of my interest!!! Fantastic job bandai on this trailer. I can't wait to see how this card game develops. :)
Go watch the battle spirits anime if you wanna see just how well bandai and sunrise have done with it over these 1 1/2 decades. The main otherworldly records stuff is well worth the watch.

Lmao. Another TCG for me to format a "VS Magic" battle for. Wonder if it'll be as funny as when I gained enough life for a Yugioh player to quit. Yes, I started at 20, and they had 8000 life.
This trailer was cool but it didn't made much sense, Queen Merduk would never be able to defeat Siegwurm Nova, Nova has much higher BP in all iterations of his cards in the original card game, and Merduk doesn't have a Spirit removal effect, only a life burn effect. They had many other spirits to pit Nova against, such as Gai Asura or Deathpeers, Now if it was regular Siegwurm fighting against Merduk i would buy the latter winning.

@@zaktilton1680 the safest way is using other form of removal (bounce, depletion). Forced battle also works, assuming your creature has higher BP.
