So you swapped the shortblock from your totaled car to this car? You blew up the engine on your last car quite a while ago i remember that from the ML channel. I didnt realize that you swapped the engine on this new to you car.....thats some major work to get it back to what it was before. Also didnt you have a TKX or something like that on your last one before the accident?
Beautiful machine and nice setup. I have a question on the digital dash, it’s really nice but do you loose the 8250 rpm reading? Does it only reads up to 7k? And also do you lose the active exhaust open and close operation from the dash? I have a 2016 gt350 and maybe I would like to get tha digital dash and would like to know if it loses some of the features. Thank you.
Yes it loses some features the exhaust switch is no longer there, which I use the AWE exhaust valve controller to open and close them, The rpm’s go to 8k and the shift light is in the cluster now and not on the dash, and the speedo goes to 160 or 180 if you get the mach1 digital cluster.
Car looks amazing! So, a couple questions, you mentioned the 2nd gen engine with gears and sprocket but nothing about forged internals. Is it a stock shortblock in the aspect? I thought you built your last one. Also, what about your transmission? I know you had the T56 Magnum XL swap but you didn’t carry that over to this build, how come?
The gen 2 has forged internals already I never built the last one cause of covid delays, so it is stock gen 2 voodoo with the upgraded gears. I didnt go back to the T56 on this build cause I really didn’t like the extra NVH and longer gears.
@@Prochargedbeast I am looking into the T56 for myself and you’re right, it seems like I’d need to change the gearing to make it work - I don’t need to do 160mph in 4th (based on what I’ve seen/read. Is 900w the max “safety” mark on the Gen2’s?
@@Prochargedbeastone last question, do you feel the Tremec 3160 is a strong transmission at your power level? I’m going back and forth on a built MT82 or the T56…
@devious5.0 it all depends on how you intend to drive it. If you are going to the drag strip I would look into a built mt82 or T56 magnum. My car is mainly a street car and roll race car so the stock 3160 will be just fine.

On the Signature 2-piece wheels did the swap affect magnaride or require any sort of calibration / tune? Love your wheels. Mine are still stock.

No this is a new gen 2 voodoo in this car. We never built the last one cause of Covid shortages.

20x11 20x11.5 305/30/20 front offset is +24 and rear +56
