Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed �The Colbert Report,� which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced ko_l_b__r, according to Wikipedia. Lemonade was exclusively streamed on TIDAL; a company owned by Jay-Z! He 100% knew what was coming. They're both probably at home, laughing their asses off whilst counting their $$$. IMO, her marriage was just as much about love as it was about a good business arrangement.

Really I think white people would be surprised how open a lot of black people are if you just ask them about stuff. The desire to share culture seems to be universal as long as it doesn't turn into personal attacks. I don't see how being a white male means I can't understand wordplay and metaphor from a black woman. There are entire courses of study in aesthetics and semiotics that looks into meaning making in such detail that even the most avant-garde is rendered understandable.

There's nothing uglier than a person who shares her personal vengeance to EVERYONE! Disgusting...
did you... did you even listen and watch Lemonade? it's literally a concept album, it tells a story beginning to end. she starts out heartbroken, confused, then she's angry, then she decides to be the better person and walk away, finally she realizes everything she built with her husband is worth fighting for and working through. There are a few references to her father throughout the album, who mistreated her mother in a way that almost parallels what she's going through. She worked through all the anger, confusion, sadness, hurt and pride to reach a place of acceptance and forgiveness. Not just for the sake of her family, but for herself.
This album is for any woman who's been wrong by a man in her life. Yes it's angry and vengeful at times but it's honest. It doesn't sugar coat the feelings that come with being cheated on and lied to. You are angry. You hate the other woman, you hate him, and you even hate yourself. But she doesn't stay vengeful or angry. She grows from the ashes and makes the hard decision to forgive. And I'm pretty sure Jay knew all about this as he's in some scenes of the visual album. He also wrote a few songs about his infidelity. He's just a big enough man to let his wife express herself the best way she knows how.
