Thanks Marie. I saw this on Instagram. I'll learn basics, then switch it up to be mine. All I need is formula, np, plug in my own oils, butters, . I have ppl that do not want heaviness of basic lotion. This and body yogurt is great. Ty.. Have you tried geoguard? Tara has. Seems it's passing. I began geo 5 months ago.. I needed yalls opinion. I liked it. But. Only 2 years have I been doing this. I love illipe butter. Hard butter, with verisoft.
You have not idea how on time your video has come! I just needed to formulate smth very light but stable. Thank you so muh Marie for you great work and generosity!
A body yogurt is basically a body milk with a hefty dose of a gel thickener. Learn more with part 4 in this series: th-cam.com/play/PL4cZgaY9j7fMXbuFZvAv_rL83f23YJjer.html. Happy making!
Thanks for another great informative video. I was sure you were going to mention a naked emulsifier like glyceryl stearate and peg 100 stearate. Any reason why not?
Hi Angela! Yes, several reasons :) 1. I didn't need to-we got great results without one :) 2. This videos is part of a series that is based around riffing on a starter base formulation, and Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate was not used in that formulation. 3. This video is part of a series on natural formulation, and Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate is not natural. 4. Naked emulsifiers like Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate are mentioned in the partner blog post when discussing a use case where it (or something like it) would be required. Happy making!
@@HumblebeeAndMe thank you Marie. I read through the blog post and saw you mentioning it at the end 🙏🏻 totally forgot about the natural theme. That makes sense.
This series really really were great and helpful, I like how you gave us great tips and great knowledges. I'm a newbie and I really wanna know how the pH of every ingredient affect to finished product. Please, make a video talk about that, Thank you
Absolutely love your videos , love the videos on creating base lotions , when will you make a series of videos using gels as base for skin and body lotions . Gel face and body creams are proffered by men as it is less likely to create that shiny look that most creams do
Thank you so much for this video! I was trying to do a spray leave in conditioner with 2% olivem1000 but it separated after a week :/ I think I’m going to add the xantham gum at 0.2 % and hope that makes it more stable
Spray emulsions can be a bear! Have you read my content on hair conditioners? I highly HIGHLY recommend shifting to cationic emulsifiers and gums for fabulous results ❤️ The "3 ways" posts here are super helpful: www.humblebeeandme.com/how-to-make-hair-conditioner/. Happy making!
Hmm :/ You'll need to reach out to Patreon about that-I'm just a user of their platform, so I have zero ability to offer any sort of troubleshooting. support.patreon.com/hc/en-us

Great video! Would LOVE to join your highest patreon level, but it's always full. Any chance of getting on a wait list? Thanks!
This video comes right on time as we are in the middle of a heat wave. Whats the difference between this product and a body yoghurt?

@@HumblebeeAndMe oh I actually haven’t looked at it but I will now ! Thank you so much ☺️
Would this work as a in shower lotion? If not have you done that type of product?
I like thicker emulsions than watery ones. Maybe a medium weight.
You should definitely check out the video I made on thickening lotions, then! Its in the playlist I mention in this video :)
Hey just reaching out again! I want to discuss a potential one time job with you. I need help creating a formula!

Re visiting these videos as offspring wants a super light weight lotion. Apparently a cream which could brake a fifth storie fall is not her jam....
Have fun with it! I highly recommend keeping your experiments in a clear bottle so you can keep an eye out for separation 👀
More natural is better.
Then you should be happy as everything in these formulations is all natural 😄
