It really is the best of every world! Does damage on the race track, fits the pup and luggage in the back and you can throw it in comfort mode and it won’t destroy you on a 12 hour road trip. Thanks for the support!
How do you know if you need paint correction? That is more than just buffing or clay bar, isn't it? I have an 18 Golf R Lapiz too. I have never had anything more than a $45 wash/spray on rainbow wax since I bought it new in 2018. I have covered parking mostly.
Eric, Thanks for watching! Generally speaking a paint correction consists of a muli-stage machine compound & polish followed by some form of protection (wax, sealant or ceramic coating). That being said, if you're car has seen drive-through machine washes, or even hand washing with improper techniques, odds are it could use some level of correction. How in depth you want your paint correction to go really depends on what your goal for the car is. I would reccommend linking up with a reputable local detailer to run through various options based on your needs/budget and go from there. Not sure where you are located but if you need some reccomendations for detailers in the PA/NY/NJ areas done hesitate to slide in our DM's!
@@SlippyGrip Awesome. Thank you. I researched a little and it does vary like you mentioned. I am in California so no brutal winters but I can see swirl marks depending on the angle of the sun. I will look into my options by end of winter/beginning spring to bring back the color. Thanks.
Never get tired to watch your Golf R. This is it, a car you can live with comfortably. And have fun when traffic allows.
