I’m sorry I’m late but this passage doesn’t even add up. God is all knowing why is he asking Jesus that question. He sent Jesus 100% with grace and truth. Everything embedded into Jesus is from God. So God did not know that Jesus might have told the people to take him and Mary as Gods beside himself?

*Firstly* :
Jesus said here " your sins are forgiven"... He didn't say I forgive your sins...
There is a difference between the two sentences because the verb "forgiven" here is passive and that means that someone forgave her sins but doesn’t necessarily mean that the speaker is the one who forgives !

even if Jesus is the one who forgave her sins... That Doesn't mean he is God because even Jesus disciples forgive sins according to the Bible! Does it mean they are gods too!

_Question; How can anyone do greater works than Jesus as stated in this apparent riddle in John __14:12__?_
_Using the ten commandments as a light (Psa 119:105 & Pro __6:23__ & Isa __8:20__) within this study we can begin to see and understand this riddle in John __14:12__ in a new light in the following way:_

_Howbeit this riddle seem contradictory to Jesus' statement in John __13:16__:_

_Question followups; How can anyone do anything greater did Jesus did, when Jesus never sinned?_
_Pondering an Answer: Jesus never sinned. We on the other hand, are sinners. We have to repent because we are sinners._

His disciple calling him lord doesnt mean he is lord.it is just a respectful way of saying it to someone. Like for example a king his servants call him my lord this and this bla bla.

If you can simply ask for forgiveness without the shedding of blood, then how is that sin paid for? In OT times, you had to have animals to be your intercessor for your sins then you would use the animals blood sprinkle at the throne that stood above the alter. That's why God told Israel not to eat the blood because the life is in the blood. That's why it says "For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness." -Hebrews 9:22. It's all in the book of Hebrews.

Who is illahi? Every chapter of the Quran starts with the saying "Bismi illahi rahmani raheem" which means "In the name of God (Allah) the most gracious, most merciful". And if you are ever around Muslims you would hear them say "Alhamdulilahi" from time to time , this means praise be to God. Illahi in both Arabic and Arahmaic(Jesus language) means my God. "Allah" means The God( "Al"- the and "lah" is short for illah-God meaning the God, the true God) .
