- [AD Gifted] Welcome to The Maldives everybody! Here is my Maldives vlog from our trip to a paradise Maldives island and our stay at Reethi Faru Resort. If you are looking for where to stay in the Maldives, then you've found one of the best. This is an amazing Maldives accommodation option!
Maldivian overwater villas don't get better than this! Honestly it was like a dream!!! And we arrived by Maldives seaplane. One of the best honeymoon destinations in the world, the Maldives has some of the best Maldives resorts.
After three gruelling flights from London Heathrow, we finally hopped onto a speed boat at Dharavandhoo Island and hurtled towards the beautiful Reethi Faru Resort.
From the moment we stepped onto the jetty, all we could hear was the sound of the waves and our guides friendly voice, as they welcomed us to the resort with fresh coconut water.
We knew we had chosen the right Maldives Accommodation for our dream trip. Have you been to The Maldives before? This includes an overwater bungalow tour!

I stayed in the Reethi Faru Resort back in July. Amazing Hotel and the girls in the Spa are the best! Hope you enjoyed your stay as much as I did!

What month did you visit?
We travelled there in September, so technically out of season but the weather was fine minus one day! xx
We’re planning on going here, can I ask if you found it expensive being out there at all??
How much did it cost from male airport to this island ?
we went through the domestic service with the accommodation provider which was free with the stay x
What kind of dining did you choose? I'm unsure if all inclusive is essential. Love the video btw
We loved all inclusive as it meant we didn't have to think about anything - I would say on the islands its worth it as its not like you can go down the road to the supermarket or to a restaurant outside of the resort xxx
@@SophiesSuitcase yea but there is this thing called „all dining experience“ where you can go to every restaurant. Its 400€ more for each person, do you think that‘s worth it?

@@vanessakraft6552 Hi Vanessa, I am not 100% sure what packages they have now, as our trip was two years ago. but I would say you want an inclusive package for food at least, as over 1 week for example it'll be worth it for 3 meals a day and 7 days (21 meals)
Hi Sophie! We are deciding b/w Reethi Faru, Fushifaru, and Heritance Aarah - would you be able to offer any insight / advice on which one to pick? At least b/w Reethi and Fushi? Thank you!
both were amazing for different reason! reethi has lots of amenities as its a bigger island, more choice of restaurants and activities, but fushfaru is more intimate and quieter, therefore much more romantic etc. depends what you are after! I cant comment on Heritance Aarah

@@SophiesSuitcase Also! Quick question - how did you travel between Reethi and Fushifaru? Is there a speedboat transfer or seaplane you would recommend?
@@uziminhas we did domestic transfer, going back to Male to get on a smaller plane to fly directly to Fushifaru.

Hi Sophie. Great shots of the island. My wife and I are looking at going to Reethi in February 2022. I have 3 quick questions.
1) What room we're you in please. As it looked great
2) Was the island surrounded by coral, if so how far out could you walk before you were walking amongst it. We've been to the Maldives before and we love to sit out in the sea.
3) Some reports say one side of the island is quite blustery but other side is quite calm. Did you experience this.

Hi Tony, amazing to hear you are going to Reethi Faru. It's a wonderful resort.
1. we were in two rooms, overwater bungalow and a beachside villa, both were amazing
2. yes lots of coral and places to snorkel. the instructors give you all the best places and there was a map in the room to show you.
3. I didn't find the wind to be more on one side.
