The foam filter at 7:45 mark, Mine has pretty much disintegrated. I have just replaced the paper filter. How important is it to have the foam filter installed?

Probably not a huge deal, I would try to get one but I wouldn’t let it stop me from riding

I noticed the manual recommends oiling the foam filters, is that a necessary step?

@@vxcomanche foam filters can be oiled and should be if it’s the filter for the engine, in this case my engine filter was paper so no don’t oil that. The little filter for the cvt area, you could oil or not.

I’ve got the same year similar mileage. Does yours studder a little bit when accelerating from a stop? It does it less after I’ve been riding for a bit. It’s like the grip on the cvt wheel has to warm up first.
