- Through construction and the years we have lived in our mobile home, we have been saving and preparing for this moment. We purchased brand new bent and dent appliances, not one but two! We officially have a small yet mighty laundry room, we can get so much laundry done, it’s been amazing! So in adding so much white to the laundry with the new machines I decided we needed to spice things up with some color. So let the fun begin 🎨

Their cost wasn’t too bad, since we got them from a bent and dent. Around $1,100 a unit. Couldn’t have afforded brand new cost times 2! 🤑 thanks for your kindness

They do! Anyone with room for a side by side washer and dryer can make themselves a mini laundry mat also 😂 it’s revolutionary

Trying to find a old fashioned mailbox they usually came in Black where they had the little lid that lift up you can put your dryer sheets in that part and at the bottom of the mailbox I always had these two little hooks where you put the newspaper or you could put either gloves there and or hand towels or paper towel you can do just about anything with it..
That’s a really good idea! I did something somewhat similar to that. I had a leather envelope mail holder from hobby lobby sitting around unused and tacked it on there. It’s been great having them so accessible 👍🏼 thanks so much for your input I kinda wish I had those hooks to hang extras off of 🤔 😉

I use a medical glove wall dispenser mounted on the wall to hold my box of dryer sheets. I bought a cheap white wire type so had to put zip ties across the bottom. It worked perfectly but I have an all in one unit now so I don’t use dryer sheets. Currently trying to figure out how to build shelves around it.

i wish I would have had double washers when my kids were little!! I thought about doing it now but also considering adding a washer and dryer to my master bath..
Honestly you can do this with any existing laundry or space that’s 5foot wide. We built a second wall and added extra utilities in it. It is such a blessing!

Thank you so much! I got all my laundry bins from IKEA. They were apart of a wall mount drawer/shelving system and I use them like I do because I love the wire mesh style basket. They have the JONAXEL line that is similar with mesh and grid style bins. Not sure sizes, but I hoped that helps.
I saw magnetic holders for dryer sheets if that is an option - mine are in old baby wipe tubs
That would be a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion 😊 I ended up having a leather mail holder I bought a while ago from Hobby Lobby that I nailed to the side of the folding table. It’s working good so far 👍🏼

Well thank you ma’am! We did add extra plumbing and electrical. We first built a secondary wall to house it all in without doing demo to the existing exterior wall. Then we placed one standard outlet, two 220 outlets wired to their own circuit in the electrical panel, two dryer vent hook ups and two water/drain supply boxes. I love that stencil, your paint colors, and I can't believe more people do not have at least 2 sets of laundry machine dep in how big of a family. I would caution you to make suuuuuuuuuuuuure your floor underneath those machines is reinforced enough to hold them....when they are full of water and wet laundry. How awful if they went through the floor.

Well, we bought two washer and dryer stacked units. So, 2 washers on the bottom and and 2 dryers on top. We built the extra utilities in when we were under construction. It’s been amazing to get 2 loads going at once. This family of 7 is loving it!

@@valerieann2751 they are! They are joined and sync together. So if I set a normal wash load in the bottom, when I turn on the dryer above it will auto set to a normal dry cycle, and I can tweak settings if necessary. I really like them!!
