Great! Glad you found this footage (of one of your 1st Ms. Queen Ro Solo Travel trips). Ms. Rosa Parks was an appropriate place to start - with her powerful story for equality. Also appreciate and applaud your visit to the Peace & Justice Memorial (Museum); it's a tough place to visit - for me - as an African descent of formally enslaved people in amerikkka. Your "warning" about the footage was a good idea; its a horrific and painful time for people of African descent - who live in amerikkka. Moreover, it helps one understand why "they" want to ban so many books about this horrific (de)human behavior against other humans. Yes! a rather long comment - and your trip - this forum is an opportunity to share about this not-so-beautiful part of amerikkka "the beautiful...land of the the NOT-ALL are free"...And that's why I wanted my F.O.N. to greet and meet my dear friend Vincent (who is an integral part of keeping this history alive in Alabama). Thanks for finding and posting this Alabama Solo Travel Ms. Queen Ro! peace.
Everything you said in this comment is the TRUTH! The trip to Montgomery WASN'T what I expected, it was better! People think b/c we are Black, we know everything about African American History. I learned so much in my short time there and yes, Vincent made it worthwhile b/c he gave me all the inside scoop of the city. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Our Family Reunion 2022, was in Alabama, I thought we stayed in that hotel but it was the one by the river. I was shocked by how nice everyone was… 😂 I loved the River and all the history.

So many people told me not to go but I had to visit b/c I had never been to this state. I have to complete all 50. It's actually a nice place to visit with a lot of history. Yes, it's pretty safe - just stay out of certain areas, you will be fine.

Girl how you talking about the south like you not southern. Lol. "This southern hospitality" Alot of what you visited was not there when l lived there. The west side of Montgomery was considered a rough area. Glad you enjoyed yourself and yes the heat is crazy.
First of all, yes I'm from the south but I'm not southern. Believe me, there is a difference 😂 Secondly, that amazing how that area expanded since you left. I guess that is a good thing. And yeah, we only drove by the west side. Notice I didn't get out of the car LOL. Thanks for watching Friend 😊
